Wtf?! We are slowly getting worse with each game. Started happening in November. Now Europa League miss is a real possibility.
i was out of town so i didn't watch either. i haven't even seen highlights, but it looked like we got off to a quick start at least.
i've just accepted that fact that the team sucks. none of these losses affect me anywhere. we'll beat juve every now and then so that makes me happy!

Sampdoria did just beat Roma last week, so they are flying high. Now we are on a 2 game losing streak and literally in a crisis fml
it wasn't a bad performance. we just couldn't get the ball in their net. we had a few good chances. pasalic put one off the post, and lapa forced a great save late. gigio didn't have to make any saves that i remember. paletta got beat and gave up the penalty. that was the difference in the game. i really didn't understand the first subs montella made. he took off bacca when we needed a goal and put on abate. i would have taken berto instead of pasalic and just brought on lapa. switch to a 424 with lapa and bacca playing beside each other. that gives deu, suso, and the midfielders two targets in the box. i also think sitting sosa in front of the back line was overkill for a team like samp. i understand the back 4 were a patchwork bunch, but surely we could have used a little more creativity in sosa's spot. hell we could have started in a 424 against this team. you knew they were going to park the bus playing away. ETA: expected goals and pass map look decent. well, except for bacca's little bitty dot on the pass map. it's amazing how little he does for the team if he's not getting played through on goal.
