Updates on some former QPR players: Clint Hill has signed a one-year contract with Rangers, who are newly promoted to the Scottish Premier League having completed their four-year climb through the Scottish lower divisions. http://www.bbc.com/sport/football/36554932 "The biggest challenge is going to be getting used to the focus you receive as a Rangers player up here," he said. "I walked out of baggage reclaim and thought there was a Hollywood superstar behind me." Hill joins ex-QPR midfielder Joey Barton and Niko Kranjcar, both of whom signed two-year deals at Rangers this summer. Ale Faurlin and Rob Green still seem to be a free agents.

QPR has signed Jordan Cousins from Charlton Athletic for an undisclosed fee. The 22-year-old midfielder is the back-to-back Charlton Player of the Year. http://www.qpr.co.uk/news/article/2...athletic-jimmy-floyd-hasselbaink-3184124.aspx
Jamie Mackie will be out for at least three months with an ankle injury. http://mobile.qpr.co.uk//news/article/2016-17/jamie-mackie-qpr-injury-3207248.aspx I wonder if JFH has any budget left to add or if we're going with what we have.

http://www.bbc.com/sport/football/37000915 http://www.qpr.co.uk/news/article/2016-17/qpr-sign-yeni-ngbakoto-fc-metz-loftus-road-3229905.aspx QPR has signed Yeni Ngbakoto, a 24-year-old forward who scored 12 goals and had 11 assists (38 appearances) for Metz last season as they earned promotion from the French second tier. Ngbakoto has signed a 3-year deal.
Yeni looks like a good signing. He seems to be a goal scoring winger. Scores goals and creates them too. Good free kick on him too. Great business from Sir Les and the team. Starting from the back, the changes have changed the nature of the team (at least, appear to) from a bunch of individuals to a real team with everyone working together as a group. I like the sound of Cousins and Bidwell a lot. Hard working no flash types. The defense looks like it will be solid and the midfield looks like it will be hard working. Up front is still a work in progress but between Cherry, Poulter, Washington, and Yeni we should have the parts in place. Very pleasing but the proof of the pudding will be int he eating, of course. Its a long season and we will have to see how things go one injuries and suspensions start forcing changes.
Who is everyone hoping for in the January window? Obviously, we need a striker, but that is always true at QPR. Why not bring back JET?
Out: Seb Polter goes back to his previous German club: http://www.qpr.co.uk/news/article/2016-17/qpr-sebastian-polter-fc-union-berlin-3511756.aspx "I am sad to leave but, for family reasons, this move back to Germany at this particular moment in my life is the right thing for me to do, so I could not turn this down." Sandro heads to Turkey: http://www.qpr.co.uk/news/article/2016-17/qpr-sandro-antalyaspor-3509407.aspx Tjaronn Chery is said to be sold to a club in China. No official announcement on the club's website, but he also no longer shows up on our roster page. http://www.bbc.co.uk/sport/football/38536019 Out (Loan): Ben Gladwin ones mores is loaned back to Swindon: http://www.qpr.co.uk/news/article/2016-17/ben-gladwin-qpr-swindon-town-loan-3509008.aspx In (Loan): Kazenga LuaLua comes on loan from Brighton until the end of the season: http://www.qpr.co.uk/news/article/2016-17/kazenga-lualua-qpr-brighton-loan-3512132.aspx I'll be attending the home match against Brighton. Those young hungry players that everyone has been calling for are beginning to come good for us. Manning, Freeman, Washington, Wszolek, Sylla, Smith, and Ngbakoto are all looking like really good young options up front. Add in Smithie, Furlong and Bidwell and we have the youthful heart of a team that could be together for a long time. Where will we be this time next year if we can keep the team developing?
