I caught my first ad on the radio, it was on 1500 so it wasn't very clear but sounded like Callum Williams was doing it. Other than that the only thing I've heard has been on the Current. If it's like last years Simple Invitational it will be streamed. edit to add: checked Portlands website and see they plan to stream the Timbers for the Invitational but couldn't see anything about the other matches. Also checked the Loons and Whitecaps site to see if they mention it but don't see anything.
I just listened to it...and they answered my question (about 3 year success benchmarks). Personally, I think they have low expectations for the first two years. Glad they also shared some disappointment with the club and the lack of "Build up." Jerseys should have went out already. I can see they will run out of gear before the first home game, due to excessive orders.

I don't know. I think I read that Bashkim was going to be a loan, but what was holding it up was that he wanted a contract extension with his club. Have not hear if it has been scuppered. I really get the whole "right fit" thing that Manny and Adrian are doing, but man, a month left,........ getting to panic time.
This team has done an absolute garbage job promoting themselves. You look at Orlando and Atlanta recently, for all the things you should do for a "new" team, and all you have to do is look at Minnesota for how not to do things. There is absolutely zero buzz around the cities, outside of the hardcore fans, for this upcoming season. I don't think I have seen a single bumper sticker, decal, billboard, or any other advertisement for this team while driving in the twin cities everyday. I hope the front office knows something I don't, because I fear the attendance will be pretty bad while in TCF. Also, I'm not sold on this whole wait for DPs approach. The forward spot with Ramirez and Danladi is a lot of pressure for a NASL striker and a rookie. The central midfield players aren't much to be excited over. I know expansion teams take time, but this season has the potential to be pretty bad (on and off the field).
I am more worried about the back. The way Heath wants to play, he should have had that back line and GK settled before pres season started. Now, the whole "right fit" thing looks like we are going to make panic buys. ---------- Agreed...non-existent marketing from club. Maybe an even bigger fail, due to the they have had a much longer time to generate the buzz. Does anyone know what channel they will even be on? FSN?
Just heard the commercial I heard on 1500 on KFAN. It is definitely Callum reading it. The whole thing feels off from all previous advertisements the team has done previously. Why use God Save the Queen as background music?

I've been seeing a more regular pace of ads the last several days during various Euro league broadcasts. Like during last week's Premier League game on NBC. I'm seeing banner ads whenever I surf the web. Also heard that Miguel Ibarra was on Spanish language radio ...
