funny how quickly things changed for him. went from being a starter to at least 4th choice CB in ~6 weeks
Knee jerk reactions as usual. I suspect he will be back in the mix sooner rather than later. I'm more concerned with Bailly and Mkhitarayan recovering.
Hope he is fully recovered before we play him again. He is not really required for Sunderland match. We can manage with current backline. Sent from my LG-D802T using Tapatalk
Agreed. We'll cope with Sunderland just fine with Antonio, Phil, Marcos and Matteo. Even Daley if need be. Hopefully we'll be able to give Timothy a solid workout as well.
I imagine that Bailly will leave for AFCON sometime in early January, which leaves 3 games left or so with United. With games being so close to one another after Boxing Day, it stands to reason he probably will be needed either vs Boro or WH, where he can fill in for Valencia at RB or in central defense.
Miki is understood to be back as he claimed in today's press conference that everyone is fit, except for Shaw, who is close himself.
Outstanding news. Miki turned things dramatically after a rough start at Old Trafford and put in something like 4-5 MOTM performances in a row before that shitbag tackle.
It would kill our attack. If we want to rest Ibrahimovic, which we should, then play Rashford or give Martial a punt.
True. But he will be playing against championship club and more importantly we should give him every chance to score that remaining two goals. Sent from my LG-D802T using Tapatalk
Wonder what our win % with/without Rooney has been? Probably near opposite of win% with/without Carrick (ie switch to 4-3-3). In 4-3-3 there is no 10. Rooney is option on left, but many others with pace needed in 4-3-3 are ahead of him there.
Do you care more about the clubs performance and continuity of momentum or him breaking the record for personal glory?
Oh, you got me wrong. I was thinking along the line that once he crosses that record, he will get a closure and we would get more potential buyers than chinese for him to move on.
Interesting article in MEN comparing Jose approach to avoiding injuries to LVG & SAF; http://www.manchestereveningnews.co...hester-united-news-fixtures-mourinho-12413633
When asked about Zlatan and Rojo's stats ahead of this weekend, Jose confirmed that Zlatan was sick and should be fine. As far as Rojo is concerned, he just does not know one way or another if he'll be ready and has confirmed it is a muscle injury.
Looking at the table, we're still just 5pts off second placed Pool and Spurs. And just 2pts off City. Today's result may have been disappointing, but it's far from over in terms of our top 4 hopes.
