Not the most enjoyable part of all this obviously but injuries are parts and parcel of the game. Hopefully, under Mourinho this thread will not be as prevalent as it used to be under the previous regime...
Fellaini got hit with a back injury http://www.manutd.com/en/News-And-F...-for-marouane-fellaini-after-win-at-hull.aspx
Back to miscontrolling the ball, attempting long passes and giving free kicks away on the edge of our penalty area.
Mourinho spoke of a muscle injury in his back on regards to Fellaini. Back spasms perhaps. Curious to see how long he will be out.
If it's spasms then that will be a major concern for him, as those are often chronic injuries, with little chance of full recovery.
I had a feeling this would happen. F the international break. Granted, it's The Sun, but the speculation that he will now miss the Manchester derby has already begun. Hope he is okay, we need him desperately against Man City. Of course, Rooney will come back from England duty unscathed....
We will not know anything concrete on Miki's status he's been properly assessed and some kind of scan has been performed. Just need to keep our fingers crossed and hope for the best... http://www.manchestereveningnews.co...ter-united-henrikh-mkhitaryan-injury-11826814
Looks like some kind of knee injury for Miki. http://www.skysports.com/football/n...mkhitaryan-doubtful-for-man-united-v-man-city
The full extent of it seems to be still unknown apparently and Miki himself doesn't think that it's all that serious. He was asked if he could play over the w/e by some Armenian fans and he answered "I hope so." reportedly. Make of it what you will... Not what #MUFC fans want to see — Henrikh Mkhitaryan forced off injured while playing for Armenia pic.twitter.com/EwYMlO7wpT— B/R Football (@brfootball) August 31, 2016
looked like a knee on knee collision. Probably nothing serious but his knee coukd lock up pretty bad if he doesn't get the swelling under control. Hopefully he's ready to go. If not, drop Mata and let Rashford run at people from the right
MEN reporting that Mhiki has stated he's hopefully going to be available for Denmark. So hopefully it was nothing at all and he'll be available for us. I'd hate to see him push for Denmark.
Some discrepancies apparently on the nature of his injury, second place I noticed that claimed Miki sustained a rib and not a knee injury. #MUFC have been boosted by news that Mkhitaryan could face Denmark this w/e. The summer signing sustained a rib injury playing for Armenia— PhysioRoom (@physioroom) September 1, 2016
Apparently, it's neither a knee or a rib injury as originally believed but thigh muscle one and he could be out up to 10 days... http://www.skysports.com/football/n...an-injury-update-not-promising-for-man-united
My dear fans, I appreciate much that you worry about me, thank you! I'm now back in Manchester for treatment and hope to be fit very soon!— Henrikh Mkhitaryan (@HenrikhMkh) September 3, 2016
Marouane Fellaini will be available for this weekends derby following his recovery from a back problem. #MUFC— PhysioRoom (@physioroom) September 5, 2016 Back in training with Belgium, so that seems to confirm he's ok.
