First Evansville's coach goes, now Findley. Who else SKC going to take that doesn't really win many college games?
Marshall just hired Chris Grassie from Charleston. Had been an assistant at Marshall and Michigan, went to D2 title game in 2 of last 3 years at UC.
A few rumors from the scene here in Carolina : Phil Jones from Clemson (associate head coach) looks to be interviewing for jobs in Floridaand was also in the hunt last year. Possibly Florida Gulf Coast? I have heard from numerous alums that it is most likely his last year at Clemson and he truly deserves a head coaching gig for the work he has done with Noonan and here at Clemson. Just a few years ago our team was average at best. I hope we can just keep him for a little while longer! Anthony Esquivel from Furman (associate head coach) has left the program which is also big news here in the area. Big, big loss for the Paladins as they need to regroup from a bad year. Don't know if he is interviewing for jobs also or what, but it looks like they have removed him from the website and promoted former Presbyterian College head coach Bret Boulware (who ran the worst team in the country for a few years lol). Talk about a step in the wrong direction. Im a big fan of both and there are tons of soccer brains here in the upstate that believe these 2 are the real deal, hopefully they stay for a little longer and will be interesting to see where they end up!
Yossi Raz (Cal Poly Pomona) is the new head coach at UC Irvine https://ucirvine.prestosports.com/sports/m-soccer/2016-17/releases/20170119qgbxeo
He's jumped around a bit, but he's an excellent coach with a higher ceiling, I expect him to go to stronger campuses, conferences...
Not surprising in the least to me. I've long felt he was one of the most promising youth coaches in the SoCal area and told people it was not a matter of if, but when he would be a head coach at a pretty big program. BTW - UC Irvine is yet another school in the West that his changed coaches for performance reasons.

Florida Gulf Coast hires Jesse Cormier (Vermont): http://www.fgcuathletics.com/news/2...ormier-named-new-fgcu-msoccer-head-coach.aspx
It's my understanding that Raz was a candidate for the first assistant coaching position at UCLA when Carlin-Voight departed Westwood for Portland. Obviously he wasn't hired by Salcedo which IMHO was a huge mistake.
