Why on earth is Yamaguchi starting. First it was Oshima, now it's Asano handed his first cap in a high stakes match.

Maybe the tactical analyst has noticed that the Thai CBs are slow? I don't know their players.

    Yamaguchi FFS.
And still Kagawa instead of Kiyotake.
Nice to see Asano from the start ;)

Even out of form Shibasaki is more reassuring.

Crap, there is no improvement in the structure. it is difficult to connect play to central zone properly. Thai will be happy to contain us near the touchline

Aren't all the games of the second round only on Asahi?

Great header by Haraguchi! He deserves this one.

Thank you Haraguchi. Thailand seem content to give us 99% of the possession.

No. BS1 also got the coverage.

Haraguchi! Not from fancy build-up, but it was a relieve nevertheless.
Still, less than 4 will be disappointing though. If we want to leave the mark on the World Cup, we should not be bothered by this Thai team. They're good, don't get me wrong, but not good enough to give us some trouble if we playing with decent form.

Because it is rare to see Rajamangala packed with supporter like this. Even when Thai played in Supachalasai, which is their old stadium with 25000+ capacity, it hardly packed-up with supporter, unless the even was knock-out stage of AFF cup.

rather dull, slow, and uninspiring 45 minutes from japan.
Kawin really put an excellent performance between the sticks.

Was this Thai managed to give the Saudi real threat last match?
