There were 2 J.League clubs invited for K League 17 Championships (Shonan and Matsumoto) K League U-18, U-17 Championships are both inaugural tournaments. Most teams are participating in U-18 Championships but not in U-17. I think they might just use inviting teams for the slots available in the K League U-17 Championships, it doesn't always have to be J.League clubs but they are the most quickly & easily cooperative with us while having a similar youth structure to us.

Stielike's wise words of advise to parents of youth players and striking words to so called 'agents' Some words coming from the base of his experience and what he has seen of Korean soccer parents. In short - let the kids focus on the ball not the money And most importantly, the so called "agents" - too many agents, and those without the right qualifications do not do their work properly. They have the tendency to negatively influence the parents. http://joynews.inews24.com/php/news_view.php?g_menu=702210&g_serial=932717&rrf=nv There are also other articles about him talking about the technical aspects of youth football, which is also very interesting and reliable as Stielike has good experience with youth football in Germany. One of which is the importance of player development more than results, which is something we really have been emphasizing over these years but im not really sure we can safely say we have step away from that.
Chunnam Dragons U-18 are participating as the winner of the K-Leauge U-18 league in the 2015 J-League Youth Cup. Other teams are Urawa Reds U-18 (J-League U-18 league winners), Nagoya Grampus U-18 (J-League U-18 League runners up), and AZ Alkmaar U-18 (Eredivisie U-18 league winners).
Gwangju FC's little Ki Sung-yong has been allowed to train with FC Liefering (which has been going on) and soon with Stuttgart (the youth team I presume). He will return before the start of a tournament in which he will feature for Geumho HS. http://sports.news.naver.com/amatch/news/read.nhn?oid=109&aid=0003247959
