Sweet! They moved Costa Rica to Dallas after all. For a tournament like this, will they be able to call up players from Europe?
FIFA has September 1 through 9 available for national teams. The September 10 (last group games) and September 13 (fifth place game, third place game, and final) are after that. I could see clubs wanting their players back for the September 13-14 weekend games.
Whoever's in the Fifth-Place Game probably won't have to worry about that. The third-place game participants will probably be more than happy to release players, while the Finalists will probably lobby to keep the full team intact with a Copa América spot on the line. The Caribbean Cup finals are probably going to experience a similar change in dynamics: whereas teams normally were content to rest on their laurels after the group stage is over, with Gold Cup qualification secured, they'll now have to figure out how to justify keeping the A-team for two more games.
Hasn't GOL TV had it in the past? I had to stream it last time, so I'm not completely sure but I thought it was a GOL TV broadcast
They did have it in the past. It was also on Galavision too. I think now that it will have more of the "A" teams it should be on Univision Deportes. But that is just my opinion.
Assuming both legs will be in March. That's the only FIFA window between the Gold Cup and the end of the Caribbean Cup.
According to the poster Socceraction in the TV forum the Centroamericana will be televised on Univision Depotes this year. (As I expected)
Meh, There's going to be more Euro based players in this one than in any other edition prior so it is not really a B cup. I'd say B+.
that doesn't say much, its players from low profile teams whom are fringe on said teams. Most of these guys were there last edition but playing domestically like Campbell or ureña
I wonder if they open the whole coliseum for these games. Usually never do (no need, games never fill more than 35% and that's bring generous) but all the teams will be playing at one point. Will definitely go to that xD
Jerry World is not hosting any matches. It is going to be the Cotton Bowl which needs as much revenue as it can get.
Well, even that is something the Cotton bowl will welcome since they hardly get any events anymore with Jerry World open.
