there was always this arrogance coming from any brazilian team that pissed me off for longest time. you would think that monumental butt kicking they received at the hand of germany last yr would humble brazil at every age level. i guess it didn't. because that prick number 17 geovane after they conceded the goal, trying break our player's leg.

after suwon cup friendly, they took us lightly. brazil needs a serious butt kicking at every age level. and i am glad that we're the one who made them eat one.

LSW really didn't have a passing outlet there. Once his timing improves, he'll take the shot. He had a two second window to get in a strong shot there. If he had put an accurate shot in, Juliano would have been in trouble.

LSW is developing into a low center of gravity tank. Even from distance you can tell his legs are getting thick and he's just able to run through shit. He looks like a young Maradona on the pitch (multiple highlights, have not seen match yet).

I might be in the minority, but I think the U-17 team was underperforming in all of these bullshit "tournaments" to psyche out their opponents.

Yes, there was arrogance, but it's not something we didn't expect. Most teams don't see Korea as a threat, which I believe is a good thing. Winning as underdogs is much more enjoyable.

wow. haven't seen LSW in a while I guess. those legs just aren't thick they're turning into tree trunks. he's going to be very interesting in the near future. my bet is that he gets called up a lot sooner than later. physically he's a bit of a manchild

I highly doubt we underperformed on purpose. It seems more like a proper training camp has got the squad finally playing in synch.

do you guys project LSW as a wide player, a 10, or as a CF for his career? best case scenario for me is a tevez type, relentless forward but we've never played with a CF of that style before.

Thing I forgot to add is tackling a guy w LSWs physique generally sucks. U see that when he takes on about 4 or 5 guys near their box. Thought he was turning into a tank but that last vid confirmed he already is a tank. U generally want to tackle players like this when they're not looking bc hacking tree trunks on someone who's weight is generally all below the waist is painful.
