alright, so my usual forum for swfc (owlszone) was shut down back in may, and now i feel out of the loop regarding my blue and white wizards. recommendations for a good new forum (that isn't owlstalk)?
Owlsalive used to be great, but it's really slowed down since Steve - it's primary administrator - seems to have lost his love for Wednesday and footy in general. Owlsonline is where most of the OA faithful seem to have drifted. I go there to keep up with SWFC's goings on, but seldom post there, as I'm not really Wednesday. I really miss OA, to be honest. Lots of decent folks there.
Blades losing 2-0 already, queue their fans complaining about being stuck in a **** league that they're too good to be in.
this season may have a very different feel to anything Wednesday fans have experienced in quite some time.
How is the Portuguese contingent doing? Luca Joao is a good player gets himself in wonderful positions but his finishing can be very frustrating
and i quote: "He came on for 10 minutes against Bristol Played against Mansfield and scored Played at Ipswich He was up front on his own against Reading and never really showed anything and was carrying a knock late on He's a big strong powerful lad He has potential - but then again so do I when compared to Nuhiu"
Three of the bottom four clubs were in the Premier League not too long ago. Edit: Add Reading and make that four of the bottom six clubs.
Aston Villa-Birmingham City and Tottenham-Arsenal will be big rivalry games. I wonder what will be on TV in the USA.
@pookspur : vinny must be pleased... also... so many signings for us and so little pay off so far... come on wednesday....
what's the deal here? didn't we invest quite a bit in the squad over the summer? are they just not gelling yet or does it look like money not well spent?
