His starting line-ups consist of players Evans realised weren't good enough with key players from our 2 only wins on the bench. I suppose it's a little unfair to blame him as he'll need a few games to assess what he has but I think parting ways with Evans was a mistake, particularly after we'd just started getting some results.

you may not be better without evans, but I like you better.

... though I will entertain the possibility that Millers fans may prefer results to my affection.

Yeah that won't be much comfort back in League One I'm afraid. :(

I'd have Piers Morgan as our manager if he kept us in The Championship, we're usually feeding off of everyone elses scraps so can't afford to be too choosy.

IMO if we were going to get rid of Evans we should have done it during the summer or waited until the January window, spending 10 games under Evans experimenting with his best team was a huge set back, for us to then get rid just as results pick up and bring in someone new to start all over again will leave us with a huge mountain to climb by Christmas.

It looks like our latest desperate attempt strategy to stay in the Championship is to sign free agents until the end of the season.

    Leon Best (ST)
    Stephen Kelly (RB)

There's not much else we can do at this point in time as I think we're already maxed out with loan players.

How good is your Yorkshire accent? apparently our Chairman liked Redfearn because he was a local lad. Work on the accent and accept being paid peanuts and you're 3/4 of the way there. :p

you might want to consider including an interpreter on your coaching staff.

I pictured Ivan as a pirate there. :p

9 changes today and we beat Leeds, either Redfearn is a genius or we owe a big thanks to Agent Evans.

Chris Maguire has been shipped out on loan to League Two Oxford United already, with all of the players we've offloaded onto Bury and Oxford in recent times they should both be naming a stand in honour of us. :p

Greg Halford has been sent on loan to Birmingham, I'm not sure what they see in him he was poor for us.

6 points from 6, back to back clean sheets.

Any Rotherham fans on here have any news on Brandon Barker? I believe he was MOM in his first game, scored a lovely goal but the next game he was dropped. Came on for a few minutes yesterday but just wondered if anyone had any views on this as I find it a bit strange.

He nearly scored a great individual goal against Leeds which was saved by the toes of the keeper and the concensus is that he would have got MOTM yesterday had it not been for Clarke-Harris scoring two goals. He'll be a big loss to us if he leaves in January.

    His goal is here:

I'm not sure why he didn't start against Leeds (lack of defensive cover perhaps?) but I don't think Redfearn will change our midfied whilst we're picking up wins.

Yeah cheers for that, was just curious to see if there was a reasonable explanation for lack of game time. Hopefully over the next few weeks he gets plenty of opportunities as he's a quality player and I think he can be a be asset for you.

Newcastle have just recalled Mike Williamson (Wolves best defender) from loan which is a good omen for us, Nouha Dicko (whose career we kickstarted) who is their best striker is out for the season. Adam Le Fondre (whose career we also kickstarted) will probably be playing but he's not done a lot since leaving us apart from warming benches.

It's definitely winnable if we have a solid game.
