Yup. Anyway, QTO won 2-0 after a deadlocked first half, Tito V. scored off a nice header, then the 2nd came off a set piece. RSL scored early in their match, while it took a little longer until W Connection let in a goal. 1-0 RSL over Municipal at the half, while SL leads W Connection by the same score. Diggin W Connection's kits this year. Better than years past where it looked like they were wearing K-Mart undershirts. Sparse turnout in Guate, but a decent crowd in Territory Saints Model. Qto also had a decent attendance in The Disciplinarian. GOAL SL! 2-0 lead now in the Comarca GOAL SL! Djaniny makes it 3-0 Djaniny is no weenie
Big words from the LA Galaxy: http://www.mlssoccer.com/news/artic...-galaxy-want-more-just-mls-cup-we-want-be-fir
San Francisco must be kicking themselves for not scoring in the first half - they could've complicated things for Querétaro and maybe escaped with a draw.
No one mentioned trying to win SCCL in the press conference(or maybe I missed it). I guess they were kinda afraid to.....
I am disappointed with Vancouver result, I expected them to win with ease considering Seattle's poor form and this game being Caps' debut.
Dirty cheap shots all match, and screams when his team is touched. Hope the punk never gets back into MLS.
Was interesting watching the CCL matches simultaneously with the River Plate match. Big difference in atmosphere between the Monumental and the Panamanian Maracana, lol. Yeah, hopefully there will be no more 1-week threads made and we can just use this thread to discuss the rest of the Group Stage, PBP and all. Of course I watched the Ferrari destroy that Catracho team, I watched all 4 games last night in separate windows on the same screen.
And now, for your favorite segment (in 20 years when this tournament goes primetime, I envision ESPN or FOX including this bit with sponsorship and all ): If the group stage ended today... LA Galaxy (USA) vs. Seattle Sounders (USA) Árabe Unido (PAN) vs. Herediano (CRC) --- Santos Laguna (MEX) vs. Real Salt Lake (USA) Club América (MEX) vs. Querétaro FC (MEX) * Santos and América are dead even, as well as Árabe and Herediano, so I settled both on coin flips.
