In "unrelated" news, a lot of these have been spotted in the streets of Bahia in the last month ...

    Mexico 0 x 1 Portugal

Goal in the 92nd minute. Even game overall. Both teams looked decent and had a few chances to score. I seriously think the field today made us look worse.

Even though Mexico struggled I'm still picking them to qualify from our group!!

I dont think C. Ronaldo should play in Tuesday's game vs Ireland!!

Portugal had 4 or 5 starters out from when I was watching in the 1st half. Eder looked like a beast though, mexico still sucks. I used to be scared of them when they had Aguirre as their coach.

Very nice goal from Altidore. And a great pass from Bradley who great vision and touch. He is very unassuming. Solid player.

Michael Bradley is so vital for this team. Mich more than Donovan ever was.

Any one find it funny (I guess not that much) that the US slogan for the WC is displayed in Spanish on the sidelines as well as English ?

Yep. He is a great creative piece in the team. Just doesn't strike you as the type of player that can pull of some of the passes he does. Always impressed with his intelligence and decision making whenever I've seen him play.

Made it just in time for the friendly. Disappointed to see Italy using their B team...

Extremely. Even though it is the b squad i'd be nervous if I was an Italy fan. Flu's midfield is dominating them.

Well, Flu would be considered Brazil "J." The difference is Flu has been training together much longer. This Italy squad today probably only trained as a unit a few days.

This is getting embarrassing. Flu fans were ranting on globo about this gk and they weren't exaggerating.
