As usual for most USL PRO teams, the roster is still undecided a month or so before the first match. Dan at CHS Soccer has done a good job and gives us a peek at who we might see in 2014 http://www.chssoccer.net/time-to-crank-up-the-soccer-machine/
Day two of open trials http://www.chssoccer.net/day-2-keepers-whitecaps-friendlies-numbers/ some interesting stuff with the Whitecaps possible sending as many as 8 players. (I can't imagine they will all be long term) Also found interesting is that the Battery is seeing them as extra players and will still carry 22 (which is what they historically have done) or so players on payroll, the Whitecap loanees will be on top of that. giving the Battery a larger than normal roster.
I found it interesting in that article that the club is looking to have possibly 2 friendlies this summer. (Mexican and English were noted). I'm really excited for the upcoming season.

Omar Salgado join the Battery on loan. http://www.chssoccer.net/battery-add-2011-no-1-pick-omar-salgado/ not a player but an addition, the Whitecaps hire Troy Lesesne as an assistant coach for the Battery http://www.chssoccer.net/whitecaps-hire-lesesne-as-battery-assistant/
