A lot of people in this forum suspected the Iranian goalkeeper was faking an injury to waste time. Well it turns out that he is in fact injured. He seems to have raptured his groin. source: http://www.persianleague.com/the-ne...ss-of-the-esteghlal-about-rahmati-injury.html
well..it's not i am not giving any credit to this website, but think about this: people write whatever they want in the internet.
"raptured his groin" lolololol.... rapture? RAPTURED his groin??? Guess he got blown pretty good by some in the Azadi crowd.
I feel bad for him. He should blame the KNT for failing to score which resulted in the flopping galore.
Not being able to beat teams like Uzbekistan and Iran on Asian soil, we'd better keep our feet on the ground in the upcoming WC. You can't have high expectations with such results. Uzbekistan and Iran are NOT easy teams, especially at home, but Korea needs to maintain a certain standard if they want their 8 WC appearances to mean something. First losing to Lebanon and now this. Smells like shit if you ask me. Uzbekistan is not so far behind, too many mistakes would jeopardize Korea's chances to participate in the next WC. Cautious ...
most teams struggle away. we got the 2 hardest matches out the way now and can coast the rest of the way at home. this isnt to say it will be easy but no ones come close to our domination of matches. and in all likelihood the year will end with the rankings Iran, Korea, Qatar, Uzbeks, Leb.
Keeping possession doesn't mean you dominate a game. You dominate a game when you're ahead on the scoreboard. If you're trailing and breaking your teeth on a defense, you're the one being dominated. Possession doesn't mean jack shit in modern football (except if you have Xavi, Iniesta and Messi in your team). Some teams leave possession to the opposite team on purpose, because they rely on their defense and operate on counter attacks. Korea neither has the defense to do that, nor the strikers to play offensively. It results in "messy" games like that where Koreans display their endurance and athleticism for 90 minutes but end up losing or tying. One word, one only : efficiency. A lot of efforts, but no efficiency.
Our CBs playing pass back in their own half while our MFs do their pass backs against mighty Iran sure helped pad up those stats. Until they launch it into the air that is.
dominating is more than just possession but yes it is a part of the process. just cause you are winning the scoreline doesnt mean you are dominating the match. England may have taken Italy to penalties and drew with France but we all know who dominated those matches. sometimes despite outplaying your opponents you dont win. and the bolded statement is just silly.
true, but he just sounds like a sore loser... iran had 10 men... SK players are much better than the Iranians in every way, no excuses
