    The league is in decline period. Years ago a third team losing in the qualifying was rare now it seems to happen in every edition. hell, any opponent other than an argy or a brazilian team were automatic results for our teams. not the case anymore. tiny teams like iquique are now getting the best of us.

    Quintero, Peralta, Crosas, Calderon, Sanchez, Abella, etc.

    I don't know...the only reason Flamengo are in this tournament is because they won the Copa do Brasil. In the last Brasileirão they only barely escaped relegation, and they could still get sent down depending on how the whole legal dispute between them, Portuguesa and Fluminense pans out.

    Doesn't Torreon have a rep for people coming in late. Most games I've caught the crowd is small but around the 25-30 minute mark you start to see more people.

    Did it ever really have it? Teams have to come up with ticket promotions to get fans to show up.

    Yeah, but even then it'll set at about 50-60 % attendance.. which I guess for Mexico isn't bad but for a sudaka tournament well...
