Might as well kick off the new season speculation with some good news:

Ironically, the one team in the league who should provide a free web stream didnt. I get that there small seating capacity led them to see streaming as another revenue source. But the other way to look at it is as the only team in the league who has to turn away people at the gate, the least they can do is have the games on for free for the people they cant sell seats too.

So Seattle got Sydney, we got Mewis and Michelle Betos, as well as their 2015 1st and 2nd round draft picks.

I say we pray for Press, use Kyah Simon's int'l spot for another striker, and rock this shit.

It can't be any player moves. So what is it? New stadium? New jersey?

    Also:

I don't know where their offices were below, but now they're in Hanover.

Well you are right that it is not a player news because of the freeze so I'm hoping against hope that it is a new stadium.

They were in Somerville, near the Twin City Plaza on the Cambridge line.

Reliable journalists are saying it isn't a venue announcement either.

Well, if it's not players and it's not venue, what does that leave? Staff? Kits?

Well that was anti-climatic. I was hoping their offices moving might have been a sign if a new stadium.

How about this for exciting news?

My husband and I each received individual email invitations to try out for the 2014 team!

Lol Boston is getting desperate :):D

No offense to you or your husband though I'm not sure how he intend to make the team if he is so inclined.

That was what we thought!!!!!!!!!!! And he was a bit concerned about the physical.

I expect they just sent it out to every email list they had. We were consistent season's tickets holders several years ago (before they moved to a stadium with no hope of parking). They must have felt it was cheaper just to send it out to every list they had rather than spend the money on personnel to target it appropriately.

Is there a fee for the open tryout?

I believe it was $100 although I no longer have the email.

Probably the wrong group email list?
By the way, do you have any insights into what is going on with the pre-draft process?

I must have multiplied the $50 by two - so that both my husband and I could try out!
