Typical of them. They played the same way against us in the U-17 finals... then again it was always expected...
What have they achieved at senior level? They qualified once for the World Cup in 2010 through goal difference, got trashed as expected and won some Challenge Cups against the likes of Myanmar and Laos. Youth tournaments are meant to give players international experience to prepare them for the future. I honestly don't give a **** if Iraq doesn't make the Youth World Cups, as long as we benefit and perform good.
They won the competition in 2006 and 2010, and are at least top four finishers now. They should have a senior team capable of beating Asian powerhouses but no.. I don't buy this.
These North Korean youth teams are a fraud.. And Uzbekistan are masters in choking Remember the 6-0 loss vs Australia in the 2011 Asian Cup SF?
holy damn, the regrets. North Korea were so weak against us and they destroyed Uzbekistan. The tournament was ours ...
If only Iraq tied against North Korea, it would be a different tournament (Iraq or Japan would be finalist).
Japan would have won the game just like they did 2 years ago at the U17 tournament. Myanmar 2-3 Qatar North Korea - Qatar final. I dislike both teams.
Referee whistled the end around half a minute earlier than he should, and broke Koreans last attack in which one paralel pass that was just going to be play that would kill Qatari defence. About overage bunch of shit, MRI's probably lie at every Fifa tournament. Come on, you are not children...
Myanmar , DPR Korea, Qatar have been eliminated with zero points in FIFA U-19 World Cup New Zealand 2015. Uzbekistan still with a chance if they can beat Fiji
You can't compare a senior World Cup with an U20 competition. It's totally pointless, especially when you have nations like Saudi Arabia who won an U17 competition but have never come close in an senior event. Youth football is hard to see the true potential of a nation, look at Europe, big names missing.
