Played 90 minutes as usual when they crushed Hannover 4-1. Hannover without Haraguchi and Asano on the bench.
Played 90 minutes again int the big win against Lazio in EL. 4-1. Great result. 6 points, on top of the group. Thank god JPA has Hasebe!
Yup, even though now retired from the JNP. He's been doing great into the twilight of his playing career. I suspect he'll take up a management or assistant coaching position in Germany after he retires, before working for the JFA at some point down the line.
Guys. Just to confirm how good Hasebe is and has been this season take a look at kickers ratings. He is ranked as the best defender in the whole Bundesliga and the the tenth best player in the league so far all positions included.
He’s even played at center back, making a good pair with a taller, more physical defender. His experience really shows. Very savvy defending so far this season.

Frankfurt through to the next round in EL. 18 points. Totally outclassed the others. Hasebe played only 32 minutes thought, lets hope its not serious.
Local press already think it's serious (calling him the best man and a big loss in a meaningless match) but nothing official yet: http://www.fr.de/sport/eintracht/lazio-rom-eintracht-frankfurt-den-rekord-teuer-bezahlt-a-1638131
No details so far. He will definitely miss the match tomorrow and may not play another match this year (there are two more Buli match days next Wednesday and Saturday before winter break), but no further details on the injury and potential recovery time needed.
Okey. Well B1 has a very long winterbreak , lets hope he is ok when they start again 19 january against Freiburg.
After topping his group Eintracht trashed Shakhtar with a final 6-3 aggregate and now they will face Inter Milan!
