He remarked that he's been working on his balance and core strength to become stronger in one-on-one challenges. He does seem to be an improved tackler as of late.
Would've been nice to see him being a part of this team now when they reached the quarter finals. But no.
EPL again? Ffs no... Kagawa missed UCL final going to Moyes United and now he's too weak to be a protagonist in UCL final8/4/2. I hope japanese players will learn something from this.
Inui too. Honestly speaking as long as the team playing style suits you and you are good enough to compete for starting spots, you can do well in other leagues other than Bubdesliga as well. Inui, Yoshida and Nagatomo are proof of that.
Inui and Nagatomo are totally off topic. I was talking about EPL, maybe you should use Okazaki as an example. However I was talking about Kagawa. He's not suited for EPL imo as Miyaichi. Okazaki and Yoshida are probably the tougher DC and fw of Japan and that's why they could perform pretty good in EPL. Thankfully this Newcastle transfer is simply bs.
True that. Players like Ueda and Yuma Suzuki might suit EPL. On the other hand, Kagawa didn't really perform that bad in his first season.

Yes, he was pretty good several times and he did his first (and first asian overall) european hattrick too (koreans gone mad for that) but he was really underperforming compared to his Bundesliga times when he was simply a beast tossing out goals and assists as if it were the easiest job in the world. Kagawa was never decesive for ManU, for example in their most important match of season1 vs Real Madrid and season2 vs Bayern Munchen. After that it seems he was jynxed and never being the same Kagawa of before even after his homecoming to BvB. I hope for his story as a player and what his breakout in Dortmund meant for japanese football that he will have the chance to play probably for the last time another UCL main match as a protagonist. It will be a nice farewell.
Watched the game in its entirety, Kagawa was the best player for BVB by some distance. Looks like his motivation hasn't waned.
You can see above that it said "some surprisingly slack defending" but if you click the link you'll find out that they fixed that line to just "poor defending".
