Yeah Klopp already said that at the press conference. Maruoka & Gyau will be included.

An injury give Kagawa the chance to break in the main team in 2010, maybe this time will be Maruoka chance!

Kagawa wasn't 18... let's not get ahead now. Any minutes on the pitch with the first team are a plus

Yes, but as Saku said before he had to play in October with Japan NT...step by step, no so fast...

Maruoka in training with 1st team. I guess he will be with 1st team a bit longer since Kehl is a doubt again

Imo Maruoka is the future of BvB midfield, he has talent and in the few chances he had he performed well. But Sahin, Gundogan & Co. are too much for him to break into the 1st team again (at least not as a bench warmer).

He should have made the bench today. Would have been useful option in the wing (role similar to Mkhi/Jojic played last season) as sub for KG or PEA.

The central mids were pretty useless today...with the depleted roster situation and the general lack of on-ball quality in midfield, Maruoka doesn't have an awfully high bar to clear in terms of earning more substantial minutes.

One would think so, but oddly enough Klopp appears to have a different opinion so far...

Hope he can catch a stream and watch the U19 get eliminated from the AFC tourney while he sits in between the bench of the first team and BVB II.

I guess it speaks to the injury situation and squad imbalance when guys like Gyau and Maruoka are needed on the bench, as well as they've done at U23. It's ludicrous that a team of this caliber can't create more from midfield against cellar dwellers.

Anyway, Gündogan is supposed to be back in a few days (reallllllly now?) so Maruoka will be lucky if he gets any more 1st team minutes in the near future.

On the bench for BVB II these days. Clearly, it was for the best that he didn't play the Asian U19 tourney. It's not like we needed someone next to Ideguchi ... Ffs.
