30,000 people and not a single arrest. I call that a fantastic, passionate night of football and that pisses the Herald Sun off.
25,500 people at the Sydney game as well: http://www.sportal.com.au/football/...-draw-to-sydney-fc/1g5eshvoa7nu31jwp31e9g8pkz
http://www.heraldsun.com.au/news/op...built-on-passion/story-fni0ffsx-1227102204350 Today other 2 records about attendance : over 43k for the Melbourne derby and over 20k for Western Sydney - Al Hilal in Champions !!!!
What an epic Melbourne derby last night! I was wondering something about Villa though; why do guest players have to have a maximum of 10 games, and can't Melbourne City decide to make him from a guest player into a full City player? I don't support City, but I really do hope that Villa can stay in Melbourne. Good on WSW last night btw, hope they make it all the way next week; they'd give Australia more exposure if they win, which would be great for the league.
anything more than 10 games would be unfair teams already get aussie and foreign marquees guest stints don't come under the cap, so city could sign messi tomorrow and none of his $30m salary would come under the cap, thus limiting stints to 10 games or less makes sense or else City would be bringing in a guest player every 10 weeks
I consider the Wanderers fans the best supporters of the A league together to the Victory fans and therefore I am very disappointed about this : http://www.theguardian.com/football...derers-fans-to-travel-to-riyadh-for-acl-final
Sydney to Riyadh is 20-hour flight that cost about $2,500. Australian citizens need a visa to enter Saudi Arabia, and, I cite, the process for obtaining the visa is "very strict and complex." Not to mention that the country does not welcome foreigners at all, especially Western. Honestly, I am surprised that there were any people who made it, and downright amazed that one of them was a woman. This is nothing to be disappointed with. This is something to be proud of.
And Western Sydney and Brisbane Roar what happening ? I thought they will dominate A-League, togheter Melbourne Victory and Adelaide. Perth Glory and Wellington Phoenix was just for number, and now both are in top ) Nice what happening this season in A-League
Del Piero as a name. He scored 14 goals in his first season at Sydney. Janko already 16 and he didn't take all the spot kicks. I remember against Glory in a 3-1 away win. He scored the first PK and then was Dimitrikevic
