embarrassing... it's SAMURAI, not SUMRAI... is that the official or fan-made?

either way. a disappointing performance in the previous match. Gotta turn things up here. with Japan, it usually takes them 2 games to be in great condition and firing on all cylinders.

Hopefully, other players who didn't play against Uruguay can play in this match. BTW, how did Minagawa performed?

Minagawa was OK all things considered. He competed and showed he could physically hang with the opposition.

Aguirre says he will make 5 new changes. Big change from Zaccheroni who was able to brought the whole A-team for a friendly vs Latvia at home...

The squad might be : Kawashima; Gotoku, Mizumoto, Maya, Nagatomo ; Hosogai, Morishige, Shibasaki; Honda, Osako, Kakitani.

Hope Ogihara, Muto, Morioka and Matsubara will play too (and not only 5 minutes), since Aguirre says he'll try to use every player.

Funny how you picked that game but not the one against Iceland :whistling:
Besides the comparison makes no sense, as this is a squad change between two games, just like Japan - Netherlands / Japan - Belgium. A more fitting example would have been the too limited changes between the Serbia and Belarus match.

The game vs Iceland wasn't a date planned by FIFA, so it's just logic : he couldn't call-up our europeans. He had no choice. Even Iceland brought a B-team this time.

It's true, we saw a good turn over between Netherlands and Belgium games. It was the best moment from this point of view. But it was way too rare.

Rondon isn't suspended? He took a red card against Korea, but was on the bench in that moment.
