"Thirty prospective venue and host committees from across the United States participated in the start of the stadium selection process for the 2013 Gold Cup...."

    Which Stadiums will they pick?

    My guesses:

Jeld Wen Field - Portland, Ore
Home Depot Center - Carson, CA
    PPL Park - Chester, PA
    Soldier Field - Chicago, Ill
Qualcomm Stadium - San Diego, CA
BBVA Compas Stadium (first round)/Reliant Stadium (knockout stage/final)- Houston, TX
Invesco Field (knockout stage/final) - Denver, CO
Cowboys Stadium (knockout stage/final) - Dallas. TX

Wild Card: Marlins Park (they'll find a way to shoehorn a field there)

A Miami Stadium (SunLife or FIU Stadium)
    Home Depot Center (Carson, CA)
    CenturyLink Stadium (Seattle)

I am sorry the final will be where the final always is the Rose Bowl in Pasadena. Because at least one of the finalists will be Mexico and they always get 90,000+ for that game. El Salvador or Guatemala will play preliminary matches at HDC becauise they will get a home game

Last year was the first time the Rose Bowl was used since 2002. It's not always the final host

Metlife had matches in the last Gold Cup so I think they know how to widen the field a bit for futbol.

The following were chosen. It seems like an odd order for them to be announced, is it safe to presume they are in order of events that will be hosted? If so..

    Group stage
    Rose Bowl (Padadena, CA)
    Cowboys Stadium (Arlington, TX)
    Georgia Dome (Atlanta, GA)
    M&T Bank Stadium (Baltimore, MD)
    Soldier Field (Chicago, IL)
Sports Authority Field at Mile High (Denver, CO)
    Rentschler Field (East Hartford, CT)
    BBVA Compass Stadium (Houston, TX)
Sun Life Stadium (Miami Gardens, FL)

    Quater-finals
    Red Bull Arena (Harrison, NJ)
    JELD-WEN Field (Portland, OR)

    Semi-final
Rio Tinto Stadium (Salt Lake City, UT)

    Final:
    CenturyLink Field (Seattle, WA)

As much as I would like to see this happen I doubt it will.
Most of the NFL sized stadiums will be either used by Mexico in the Group stage and/or the knock out stages.

The MLS small stadium venues will be used in the Group Stage only.
