With the all-time Intercontinental Cup/Club World Cup record split evenly at 26 titles each between Europe and South America, this was supposed to be the clash that allows one continent to take the lead. Raja Casablanca had other plans however and will try make its mark with a first title for Africa.

Raja Casablanca has done their job, far exceeding anything that was expected. To be honest, i was sure that Auckland where going to beat them in the first match! Sad to see that they don't get their deserved credit and instead blame is put on the other teams for being weak. It's not like Raja has been anything good this season, this is actually a pretty average Moroccan team in the league and they got a new coach just last week...

Bayern will win this, let us just hope that Raja can at least give some opposition but it may be to much to ask considering that they have played 3 tiresome games in this tournament, while Bayern just walked through the semi-finals. But it's football and anything is possible

I can't speak for the other games, but Raja deserves full credit for today's win. They were the better side.

It wasn't like they struggled against Guangzhou. Plus they got a day extra to rest but it doesn't really matter, this Bayern squad is better in ALL aspects of the game so no excuses there. I just hope Raja plays a good and entertaining match ;)

I remember some Raja players speaking of the final before the tournament started. What seemed like a silly dream has now become reality. The three defeats at Brazil 2000 are now forgotten. I do think the fairy tale ends here but Raja have a lot to be proud of.

Very much looking forward to this one.

I could see Raja hanging in there till Halftime maybe. But the game will probably end Bayern 4 - 0 Raja. A Bayern win by less than 3 will be shocking!

Interesting and surprising line up for Bayern, no Götze and no Mandzukic. Thomas Müller will probably move into the centre forward position with Shaquiri playing on the right. Van buyten out of the team again and Dante moves back in who came under a lot of crticism lately for his awful mistakes that led to goals against Man City and Hamburg.

Bayern 2:0 up and deservedly. But they really didn't need the help of the referee to call offside, when Iajour was clearly onside. Probably should be 2:1.

What? You mean the foul on Ribery when he was offside? Ribery was evidently fouled, but he was offside, so how do you expect that to be a penalty?

The only bad call today was when Raja looked almost certain to score and they got called back for offside. Bayern is winning this, no questions asked, but shame they made that bad call: It would have been good for the game.

EDIT: Apparently there was some situation just before the break, which I missed, so touche.

Congratulations to Raja. Team of the tournament. They have really acquited themselves well and given some hope to Moroccan sports which has fallen off the cliff of late
