2013 Carolina Challenge Cup

I've been hearing similar rumors but some one posted about Houston going to the Desert Cup out in Tuscon around the same time.

the Battery is supposed to announce the teams next week.

 

Yeah but according to Ives, five other clubs will be there for training.

But I haven't seen any of those clubs confirm those plans yet.

eliminate the teams going their and the ones announced for Orlando, it only leaves a few. remaining teams that it could be.

 

Can't wait to see who will be coming down for the cup. It would be great to see the Battery face the Caps again just like old times.

 

Kansas City is doing training in Tucson and still doing the Disney tournament in Orlando so one could do both.

 

Chicago Fire announced as the first of three MLS teams that will be in the 2013 Carolina challenge Cup.

Dates are Feb 16, 20 and 23 (Saturday, Wednesday and Saturday)

Unfortunately, I can't. The Carolina Challenge Cup is going to be in the middle of the college semester for me. Even if the match falls on a saturday, I won't have the time to go down for the match and get back for school.

so it is Vancouver, Chicago, and Houston for 2013. Houston has a chance of being the MLS Champs coming into the match while would set up a nice USL pro champ v. MLS champ match.

You been down to Holy City Brewery yet? They got a really good thing going their. There is another brewery opening up soon as well, Three Bearded Men I think its called but not sure where or exactly when yet.
