Trash still being thrown.. There's 7 min left, just end the match already. I just hope no fight breaks out between our fans and theirs.

    FT: Oman 0-3 Korea

We have achieved our first objective. Now we can look further and go for our main goal....those dam medals. Bloody medals.

Pretty solid game. We seemed to give Oman possession for the first 30 minutes, or maybe they were going all-out after conceding the early goal. But we took back control of the game from the 30 min mark and never let up.

We could've been comfortably up by halftime if Kim Bo Kyung and Kim Young Kwon took their chances better.

    Great result.

This was really worrisome. Gave WAY too much space at the edge of the box. Good thing Oman couldn't do jack with it.

This defense worries me. I figure the finishing will improve with European players in the mix.

The passing was still poor at some moments.
    A bit shaky behind too.

    But overall a good performance.

if they could potentially get SHM or Suk that would be great

I think they're both bench players right now if/when PCY joins the squad. SHM can provide backup out wide too.

yea i was thinking maybe JDW as backup for PCY and those 2 as potential players on the right wing

If PJY, SHM or SHJ get added to the final squad then it would suck for other kids that have been there for a while for the qualifying matches that does not get to go.

Them's the breaks. For those displaced, they got experience playing internationally, perhaps caught the eyes of some scouts, and establish themselves for future international competitions.

JSK, I think JDW could back up KBK with SHM backing up right and SHJ providing a different flavor from either. I haven't seen enough SHJ real playing time to suddenly put him above either tho.

Maybe it's just me but I'd rather have a well working "team" out there.

They'll have time pre-olympics to work out the kinks. Its not like NTH was practicing with the team either.

Whatever it takes to improve our middling finishing and avoid using so-so players like SJJ.

Here's a question--say we win a medal. What happens to the kids who played in the qualifying rounds but get dropped before the Olympics? Do they get exemption or are they SOL?
