Can't wait to see them get crushed against Chelsea, provided they win against Monterrey. I know they say keep your hopes up but I mean... come on. Chelsea just buys stars.

(sorry in advance to those who already saw a version of this on another thread. Seems relevant to this thread so I'm reposting) Lee Keun-Ho after winning AFC Asian Player of the Year award last night told media he supposedly has no regrets in joining Sangju army team (that's been relegated next year to KLeague2). Then the KNT midfielder had this to say: When asked about joining a European team, Lee said "definitely not now" but he admitted it would be a "dream" for any player. "I (would) prefer to play in Europe. Anywhere I will be is fine as long as I can play in Europe," he said. http://sports.ndtv.com/football/news/item/199997-lee-keun-ho-insists-no-regrets-over-military-move Lee Keun-Ho. Asian Player of the Year winner last night. After the FIFA club world cup, he will be joining a permanantly relegated KLeague2 team -for 2 years. That makes no f*#)$_% sense.
on a separate note --FIFA is testing /implementing 2 different goal line systems at the Club World Cup. I'm not terribly tech savvy so if I didn't embed this video below properly, here's a link: http://www.guardian.co.uk/football/video/2012/nov/28/goal-line-technology-fifa-video <!-- Start of guardian embedded video --> <!-- To prevent the video from auto playing set 'a=true' in the following line of code--> <iframe src="http://gu-embedded-video.appspot.co...o/2012/nov/28/goal-line-technology-fifa-video" style="border:0; overflow:hidden;" scrolling="no" width="460px" height="397px"></iframe> <!-- End of guardian embedded video -->
There's a guy I met in a Korean club in college and his name was Min Soo Kang. I couldn't stop smiling.
hwang seokho played just 10 minutes. lost ball sometimes but auckland city was just inoffensive. FT sanfreece 1 - 0 auckland the japanese team will play al ahli on sunday after ulsan-monterrey match.
can't wait for this game tonight. generally i dislike Ulsan but i think as Koreans (and Weka, some Spaniard who most likely has a naked poster of Dejan in his bedroom), let's hope Ulsan beats Monterrey here and put up a good fight against Chelsea. K-League representation!!!
Really? Maybe it's because I'm 100% gyopo but I support all K-League teams no matter what when they're in the ACL. I'm still pissed at Jeonbuk for losing their ACL title at home on penalties though.
Oddly the K-league is the best league in Asia in terms of team quality, from the top to the bottom of the table. You'd think it be Japan or a Middle Eastern league owned by oil tycoons. Hopefully we don't become the Eredivisie of Asia in years to come...
Japan and the Saudi leagues might have the more expensive foreigners but our domestic players are on average a little better than the domestic players of those leagues. We have the better physical players and the better Korean players are better disciplined than the better Japanese/Saudi players. And K-League becoming a 12 team league in 2 years is going to help immensely. Better quality players in the top league going at it will only be beneficial for development and the less quality players will get more playing time in K-League 2 which will allow them to get a bit better. The promoton/relegation will also force teams to spend the money. The creation of the K-League 2 will hopefully produce late bloomers which current K-League isn't necessarily known for.
Will this be televised? I'm in Seoul, but can't read Korean which makes finding things on tv difficult.
