    Gomis really wasted a breakaway.

Moments later a Sparta player is taken down hard by the corner flag, no card, the flag gets away with just warning.

Sparta do have some nifty midfielders and forwards, but their defense has looked very shaky anytime we get the ball into the attacking third.

Was that a yellow for simulation on Lacazette? If so bad call, wouldn't have given a penalty, but hardly a cardable dive as there was contact.

ROFL That was priceless. Much respect to Licha for not just laughing in his face right there. I don't know if I would have been able to back. Even the BeIN announcers had a chuckle. Yea, Gomis was clean through that first time, but the shot was poor. He usually buries chances like that. He got behind them a couple of other times after that, that backline is vulnerable. I'm on the fence about Laca's yellow. On the replay, it look like some serious embellishment. I don't see Sparta geting out of Lyon with a clean sheet though, we're close.

Well Bafe's just squandered about 36000 chances this match...

    A little late but eh
Vercoutre - Réveillère, B. Koné, Bisevac, Dabo(Umtiti) - Gonalons, Malbranque - Lacazette, Grenier, Lisandro - Gomis.

And just like that 2-0 Gomis, Lisandro! Brilliant patient and touch from Gomis to setup Licha's nutmeg!!

Well that was harder to close out than I thought it would be. Still thought we had much better of the game and deserved all 3 pts. Allez L'OL

Yahoo posted an article about Bafe's celebration. Questioning the pacifier. Is it really that hard to figure out?

what griped me was that he got a yellow for it. and though i couldn't see it myself friends who watched the match on TV said it was a legit peno...

btw it was an official OL pacifier you can buy in the shop:

i hope you all know i'm a level headed fellow without a hint of paranoia, but i've almost never had a feeling as strong as during this match that the ref had chosen his side.

Monzon's first goal as a Lyonnais. And they started Ghezzal. 3-1 at the half.

Gomis wasn't upfront to be called offsides every 3 minutes?

just when i defended koné when SB333 played him down he comes up with a match de merde like this. 200% responsible for the 2-3 and very guilty on the 3-3. monzon pants as well. and despite his brace fofana i found poor. luckily there was gonalons, malbranque and especially rvr. getting left off the edf gave him wings.

I have to say that I was fairly nervous before the match. 9 points!
