I almost watched all of Southampton’s matches this season, their CBs (Bednarek and Vestergaard) are both slow, Yoshida adds speed to Southampton’s defence, in every time Yoshida played he was impressive. One shall wonder why the coach isn’t starting him?

    A disgrace.
I wouldn't like to be in Hasenhuttl's shoes.

I don't think it's necessary to ask if Maya was responsible for any of the goals lol. But, seriously, they haven't suffered such a disastrous loss for as long as I remember. What is going on with them?

I think the JNT should maybe try an alternative in place of Yoshida e.g Ueda, Tatsuta and Machida, etc.

His performance since the Asian cup Final this year has not been as good as before.

Time to leave Southampton. They are known for selling young players for big profit and in their eyes 31-year-old Yoshida isn't attractive anymore.

Great attack, but defense had been completely shambolic against the Wolves, still losing 2-3 after a two goals lead. And Yoshida wasn't even on bench.

Yoshida hasn't been performing since a year ago at least. Maybe he can return to J League to get some game time.

    That sounds a bit extreme...

Either way he should look for another club. He apparently fell out of favor after the 9-0 debacle against Leicester.

It is not extreme if he is approached by a team like Vissel Kobe, as it is rumoured.

However, I still prefer him to stay in Europe and look for a new team, preferably outside England.

On loan, it seems a done deal.

I hope he doesn't commit fatal mistakes in a league known for its defensive style.

I guess it's a six months-loan before the end of his contract in England.

Really happy to have him with us, we're facing a little revolution among center-backs (Murillo is gone and Tonelli has already played as a starter).
