0-0 against Swansea and 90 minutes.
Solid, it's not hype , the feeling is he is getting better and better at the age of 28. Lets hope he gets the whole season.

Fouled in the penalty area to earn his team a penalty and a winner against West Ham.

    FT: Southampton 3-2 West Ham.

It seems the best japanese players in EU are the two that play in the historically most difficult league for japanese players :D

Just watched the game on replay just now and he had a great game. Got the penalty as Samurai Warrior said and he finished the game as the captain also!

No space for average goals today, he just did his trademark acrobatic kick to bring Southampton level with Stoke.

He has been captain many times. But not so many times as a starter in PL.

Maybe he is rested for the mid-week match?

It is only one match, nothing to worry about.
