WOW. Salgado goes number 1. That means we can stay where we are and either get Kitchen or Ngabe

So, I guess the question now is, where does he play?

I think we have good numbers, and we are definitely loud.

Happy that we have Kitchen. Now Im wondering if we are going to trade a player or something for another late 1st round, early 2nd round pick to get a striker.

I think you move him to CDM, unless we pick up a left back sometime before season.

Kitchen is listed as M/D. What kind of midfielder is he? D-mid kind of like Simms?

Seems impossible to imagine coming out of the draft without a forward, probably even 2.

But I'm happy with Kitchen. Seems like the safest move. It might not ultiamtely have the same payoff or even immediate dividends of the two chosen before us, but from everything I've read he seems like a sure fire bet to be a very good midfielder.

If I'm Clyde Simms, I'm calling my real estate agent.

I have nothing to base this on, or nothing concrete but I would say in the midfield. I dont know if he's better than Simms, but for all the attributes I've seen or heard re: Kitchen, it would be better for us to use him as a midfielder.

Him and Dax in the middle bring tons of work rate and tenacious-ness [if thats a word.

I like this pick, but hope there really is a good striker on the way.

Very happy with Kitchen, too, but yeah, we need forwards big time!

Let me be the first to say it, I hope we didn't give away everything in the future for the Kitchen Sink . . . . .

Portland and Seattle. Seattle deals No. 11 pick and international roster spot to Portland for allocation money and pick No. 20

LA just got another forward I believe from Toronto. Maybe we could get JPA.

Would love to see us try and make a move for him as a DP if LA is listening

Definitely did not think Kitchen would fall to us but I said my preferences were Salgado/Kitchen/Bruin in that order and we grabbed the 2nd one. I really like how this draft has fallen for each team so far. I expect Bruin at either #7 or #8 now. If Vancouver pulls Salgado and Bruin they're set on F potential for quite some time.
