went to Galway v St.Pats on friday. all of the St.Pats goals were a result of defensive miscues by Galway. thought that Galway played better in the first half and would carry it into the second but no such luck. officiating was poor.

I watched the stream of the first Shamrock match. It was vicious. Twigg was a mouse fart from a hat trick. I guess today's match isn't streaming anywhere.

    Fixed that for you.

2 wins from 2 for the Champions and winning in sligo has set a marker. Top of the league.

Great to be a Hoop now after years of misery.

I missed the match again since it is March Madness here in the states. Dennehy sounds to have had a good match. Can anyone get video of Turner's goal?

Billy blows hot and cold. All LOI goals are available on www.rte.ie/player following MNS on mondays.

We havent played at our best yet but have won every game and our home crowds are at 95% capacity.

I see a clear "bottom 3" have emerged. Too bad UCD is among them.

Nice to see Shamrock Rovers reaching the group stage of the EuroLeague tonight. :) Surely a great success for the Eircom League as well.

Great to see an Irish club reach the Europa group stages. Possibly the greatest moment ever for Irish club football. Will be interesting to see the type of attention they get. Spurs, Rubin Kazan and PAOK is a high profile group.

Agreed, very tough group. They/the League of Ireland will get tremendous media exposure, though, especially with Spurs coming to Dublin. Can only be good for Irish football.

    Every group is tough.
It is not a case of trying to win the group. It does not matter. They may lose every game but so what now. When you create history you raise the bar at the same time. It is up to others to emulate them in the future.

Magnificent night in Belgrade. For 2 hours the players gave it everything in a hostile environment and with a homer referee.

After players and fans partied the night away! Check out Man of the Match Pat Sullivan's goal. You will do well to see a better goal

White Hart Lane didnt know what hit it thursday. Deranged atmosphere from the Rovers end!

Class told in the end but what a celebration when we scored.

The club name is now firmly on the map.

Champions again! Truly a fantastic achievement to retain the league considering the European exploits. The best season in the history of the club.

Shame the "football mad" Irish public wont respect their own league.

    Anyway party time tomorrow night:D

Rovers in Malmo wednesday night for a friendly which will be reciprocated in the spring in Tallaght.

Kazan wednesday week and spurs next month complete a very long and most successful season.
