Re: Bocanegra to Vancouver? This has been one of (many) frustrations of mine. The last two years, knowing they're out of the playoffs, I've begged them to play some of the Kinne's of the world, at least to see what you have in them. It's pointless (no pun intended) to try and get points at that time frame, but instead it's been the SSDD routine. Agreed.

Looks like Michael Ballack could be back in play for Montreal: http://www.premiershiptalk.com/2012/02/17/massive-mls-target-available-to-move/ There's no confirmation that, upon reviewing a DVD of the player, Mike Burn's was quoted as saying, "He's got a nice touch... but looks a bit like an older, German version of Matt Damon..."
Re: Bocanegra to Vancouver? I'll go so far as to say I think Rowe could be the best drafted player since Brek Shea. I am more and more impressed with him every time I see him.
The Galaxy actually won MLS Cup, and yet their front office shake up is bigger than ours... Galaxy shake up front office, name McGowan as COO February 17, 2012 Matthew Doyle MLSsoccer.com
Re: Bocanegra to Vancouver? Well...on this the jury is out, but he does have the good fortune of starting his career on a truly sh!tty team where he's going to get a ton of minutes. Like Brad Guzan that first year when Chivas USA fell apart. He got shelled, but it helped his career along tremendously. You keep hearing great things about Darlington Nagbe, but he's always got a fight on his hands for playing time. Rowe doesn't.
Estridge released by Vancouver. I wonder if the Revs liked him, he went one spot ahead of Polak and can play LB.
I was under the impression that you have to offer contracts to players picked in the super draft. So if no one else picks him up, do Vancouver have to offer him a league minimum contract and pay it out of their pockets this year?
DRAFTED BUT NOT SIGNED: A player who was drafted by a particular team through the SuperDraft or supplemental draft and did not sign, or who as of the first Monday in June is not offered a contract after a trial and clears waivers, is placed on that team’s “College Protected List” until the second December 31 immediately following the draft in question, after which the team loses the rights to sign the player.
I don't know anything about this Tom Payne guy, but someone who was the COO of a successful business like the Galaxy would surely seem capable of doing better things here than the trained monkeys we have here. Ah, what's the use? He's probably not interested in coming here, but maybe someone can remind him that he once said that all Revolutions are not the same.
Match Day Live is being replaced: Coming soon to a screen near you: MLS Live Now using Flash (no more Silverlight). Rumor has it that it launches March 1st. $60 (up $20 from last year).

Still one of my Top 5 Jokers ever. 1. Mark Hamill 2. Jack Nicholson 3. Cesar Romero 4. Heath Ledger 5. John DiMaggio
It's time to put together a deal for one of Vancouver's forwards. They have 7 now, any of which I would happily take. Except Long Tan. His penalty take the other day against Houston was embarrassing.
