I think that basically Wenger doesn't care about Ryo. A loan of a year and a half would be the solution, because he is unappreciated in London.

Wenger talked highly of Ryo before the season started, but his actions doesn't support his words.
If Wenger doesn't think Ryo is currently suit the English football, then loaning him out is the best decision.

There were no rumors in the past 3 weeks, unless they kept it in secret, so I'd say he stays. If he does, give him some playing time, Wenger.

He played for the reserves against Fulham reserves. They lost 1:0 the entire team wasted chance after chance.
He was only seen once in that 12minutes long replay with one surge on the left side and a cross was replaced in the second half...

Overall not good, he should be a star in reserves if he wants to get the chance

Like I said, I dont mind it. If anyone Wenger will surely be there to watch his progress and he will progress step by step for sure.
Wenger does not rush it and even though it is the reserves team it is still Arsenal's football system and he is surely progressing like all the rest of promising youngsters have.

However he needs to start showing good games with reserves as well.
He would have probably got his chance by now if he would be wrecking havoc in the reserves. Arsenal isn't exactly preforming great and any kind of help in the attack section would do wonders.

However with the level of play he is showing he isn't going to help even lesser French sides

So basically its his fault as it is. When he will be a star in the reserves and Wenger wont let him play than we will talk about unfairness of the situation.
Honestly even I dont know why he is not playing a lot better in those reserves

I hate wenger's comment saying "he'll decide this weekend".
Completely retarded seeing as the transfer window closes in england on Monday so I don't think he has much opportunity to make any decision letting him go on loan.

    Hiya!
You obviously much more familiar with the journalist than I am, how confident do you feel about this potentially happening?

Also if he did go there, do you think he'd have a place in the matchday squad at least? Gametime?

all opinion ofcourse, we won't hold you to it lol.

I think it'd be a good move for him. He won't get time at arsenal.

From what I can tell, the loan isn't a priority right now as we're trying to get players (wingers, in fact) in on permanent deals. If they fall through, then I guess this would become increasingly likely.

At the moment, we only have 2 fit wingers (Petrov and Eagles) so Ryo would most likely be on the bench to begin with. With his pace and skill though, he'd certainly provide another option late in games against tiring defenders.

Personally, if it did happen, I'd prefer an 18-month loan to a 4-month loan as I'm not expecting an instant impact, especially in a relegation battle.

Meh one can still hope (tbh I just want any destination that will give him some EPL experience). Suppose a lot of deals will be finished on Monday/Tuesday.

Ask feyenoord about that hehe. dw i know there's a difference in level but they were relegation threatened and ryo came and they went like 6-7 games unbeaten.

That's a real shame, Miyaichi probably won't get any more game time now, the club is out of the Carling Cup and Wenger won't risk using him in the FA Cup.

To make it worse he probably won't be released for the Olympic qualifier.

It's not been made official, but reports are coming out that he has signed for Bolton on loan for the rest of the season.

Very happy for him if it's done. Many people has waited a long time to see him play. And he must be very hungry.
