I really hoped he could have left. Don't understand why he was on DFL's transfer list though, if Hasebe himself stated already that he stays, with some windows still open for an hour or so.
'Open arms' is a slight exaggeration. It's not impossible that he makes the squad, as Hasebe is training with the top team.
