For some reason Honda looks like a villian compared to other Japanese players like Kawaga and Nagamoto. LOL. Also I don't think Honda is going to a different team for at least 2-3 years. Moscow isn't going to let there 30 million euros player go that easily.

My bad I look at the wiki site about Honda and it said he was 6 million euros and seriously Honda should have went to Man City. They are paying him for twice the normal fee.

No doubt, Honda is no longer worth only 6 million. That was before the FWC where his stock rose 2-3 fold. But 15 million is probably spot on for his value.

Honda said he wants to play in the Spanish League. I doubt he will ever play for Manchester United. Currently he is probably worth around 10-16 million euros. I really wanted Manchester United to get Kawaga though......., but Dortmund had to keep him for 2-3 more years. :'(

Russian papers have estimated that he is on 1,3 M € per annum contract. That amount does not include bonuses (but do include a signing fee divided by the length of the contract).

I think €15M is woefully undervaluing Honda. A proper bid should be over £20M imo, especially in light of the ridiculous sums being paid out to overrated English talents this week.

This time it was 51' and third goal for CSKA. Just according to keikaku so nothing special about that.

Good point, English players are waaay too expensive. A player worth 1 million goes for 3, the one worth 5 is sold for 15 and then comes. But if they have too much money on their hands then it's their privilage to do so.
Honda still would have problems getting a work permit in England?

I was not only pointing to scenes after Honda's goal... but maybe it's just the mentality.

Honda had also a few mid-range shots into the frame today and looked like he's returning to his old self (particularly after halftime when he was playing in right midfield).

I know, but atmosphere was... Comparing to Bundesliga (that's best ratio of real supprters/quality, second is Ligue 1/Serie A)... It looked like more people were watching Japanese NT trainings than this game. I know what You're talking about. No one (almost) gives a 'f word' to those games. It looks sad to say the truth. So much quality on the pitch... That's just pity. I just wanted to say something positive (as always).

I was only wondering if there are frictions, as the team seems divided between foreign stars in attack while the Russian players have to defend.
