Damnit, I like Goru but if this was said in a joking manner, it would be funny. Why can't the bickering between you two be just for fun and without vitriol?
Interestingly, a lot of sites are reporting Yasuda as scorer, soccernet, soccerway, goal.com and Germany's kicker, too.
it's not just goal.com, but FIFA.com also made the mistake, listed Michihiro YASUDA goal at 90'+4. When there is a full match downloads or even a full highlights video, please do post the links here. I missed it myself, was planning on watching it, but over slept.
Speaking of J.League scouting players. Someone should take a look at Thailand's CB (I forgot which one) against Australia. They lost 2-1, but that CB was an absolute BOSS. Truly outstanding from him.
Kiyotake with a crucial assist again! I agree with those who said Hasebe stepped it up in the second half. He really is like a lightbulb that just needs to turn on. He is MOTM
No it's Yasuda with Vitesse today. Interestingly enough, the game is tied at 6-6 after Vitesse took a 4 goals lead ...
I agree, it was all Hasebe in the 2nd. Other guys especially Lee were playing pinball in the box and couldn't trap a simple pass. Also we need to realize that Japan probably wouldn't have won if not for the needless red card to the big Korean guy.
The big guy was a forward. So the difference was that they gave up on scoring a lucky goal and concentrated on defense only. If it had an effect it was a psychological one.
In case you have missed the match this is my report written during the game, and hastily rewritten after Yoshida's bonk. http://www.goal.com/en/match/64297/japan-vs-korea-dpr-prk/report
That is because they all use the same (unmentionable) company for games' data... Of course it is my fault
It's interesting that there is a business for this, it's in one hand and they make embarassing mistakes
I am afraid that to people who fill hundreds of data without perhaps knowing the teams, at a glance Yoshida and Yasuda might look quite similar... By the way, while these mistakes are regrettable, these are FREE WEBSITES, so once again, if you (not you sc-f, I mean in general) don't like them, you don't have to use them, or you can make a better one, since you're so smart... This is a bit as those who pointed out Matsu's mistakes... To demand perfection from a free service is imo quite ridicule...
I found it only amazing that some people now believe Yasuda is Japan's saviour while in reality he scored against Volendam Well... it's not about "my" expectation level for free websites, but I think - in this case - that of all the providers of those big football sites (plus Fifa's). They buy the data to add information value to their sites and can imo expect that the data is correct as they are the ones who look unreliable. As a second step of course "I" the reader would benefit from the correct information for free... Anyway I think this is something different than pointing to mistakes in free articles and getting all excited.
So while I'm waiting for a video of the match highlights, or even better, a full match video uploads, I want to know how was Japan's overall performance? From what I read from you guys: 1) DPRK was all defense, didn't really attack, always on the defense. 2) Japan struggled in the first half 3) Japan attack more in the 2nd Half 4) Kiyotake did a great job as a sub, so did Havenaar. 5) Okazaki didn't bring his "A" game. 6) Hasebe was great in the 2nd Half. 7) Japan Dominated the game. 8) not a fine condition on the pitch? did it cause some trouble? How would you guys rate Japan? DPRK? player's rating? What kind of issue should Zacc fix before their next game against Uzbekistan in 4 days?
