Unfortunately, I hope they'll play in Friday as I probably won't watch it in Saturday :( North Koreans might want to play it as it was sheduled and there's not much for JFA to do.

Havenaar was called up to replace Honda, although no news of who will replace Nakamura. with Honda out for the DPRK game and the Uzbek. game, Kagawa seems to be putting alot of burden upon himself. I hope he can handle it well. Kiyotake proves in the match with Korea Rep. that he is capable, with 2 assists. He is probably a good replacement for Honda on the pitch.
I'm not sure what formation will Zacc chooses for the next 2 games, but the last game, they had 3 AMF behind the FW, Tadanari Lee. though he didn't score, I thought he did a fine job going forward.
    maybe a
    ------------Lee-------------
    Kiyotake--Kagawa--Okazaki--

    with Haraguchi as backup.
I dunno much about Havenaar, but only that he's quite the striker for Kofu. whether he's capable of filling Honda's role, I do not know. How would u guys rate him?

Could not edit or delete the above post so posting a new one.

So what is the updated squad list? Honda and Nakamura is sidelined, but looking at the latest list, Morimoto is still on, but isn't he with Novara atm? he pulled out due to injury as well, wasn't he?
So with 3 people out, they only call up one replacement, Havenaar?
btw, will I be able to watch the match live? any links?

Go to justin tv one hour or 30 minutes before the kickoff, change the language to japanese and look for a channel there, it's sure there will be one.

He probably will sit on the bench, he's not a starting player for Japan. The only way he'd start tonight is if the JNT used a 3-back formation which is highly unlikely.

So, I haven't followed the national team since the Asian Cup win, but can someone kindly explain why Tulio and Nakazawa (two of my favorite players) aren't starters any more? Are Yoshida and Konno really better than them? Judging from last year, I find that hard to believe. Or have Tulio and Nakazawa retired from the international game?

They did not retire but Zac didn't call them up since taking over.
    Otherwise, this was discussed recently:

I hope Kashiwagi won't screw up at Saisuta. But if the scoreline will be around the same number as in the last game he played I won't be disappointed :)
