thats one honduran team down and morelia as well as santos advances for the group stages. go go mexican teams!
I think this will be the 1st time that all the 9 North American clubs advanced to the group stage; and if Heridiano advance too, it will be the 1st time without a Caribbean club in the group stage
lol.. Santos Laguna is not a good team at all. Last night they showed their true colors away from home. Terrible defending. Olimpia should've tied up score multiple times. Real Espana have a very good shot at finishing 1st if thats how Santos is gonna play. Especially since Real Espana pack a more punch in the final third than Olimpia and have a better defense.

its over, 2-2 I guess Alpha United will have a better coefficient than Jamaican and Haitian clubs in the CCL

Sure they got dominated but it's a good showing for Alpha United. Making it to the Champions League is quite an accomplishment for them and Guyanese football. Considering that until this year the CFU championships have been dominated by the Islanders and teams from T&T having a Guyanese and Haitian team is probably good for the development of the game in the CFU (at least at the club level). I still think we really need to see Jamaican sides re-enter CONCACAF competition. It just doesn't seem right to have one of the stronger nations in the region having their clubs outside continental competition.
Unfortunately, unless the prize money is upped or CONCACAF gives more financial assistance to teams for travel expenses, this isn't likely to happen. Maybe things have changed, but this article summed things up pretty well. http://www.hexagonalblog.com/2010/03/two-symptoms-of-jamaican-soccers-financial-crisis.html
