its a low quality tournament..so im glad ppl are realizing how shitty it was... even though i went last night hahaha
Gol de Puebla. Nice assist by Amaury Ponce . Alvaro Gonzalez with two goles, I still wonder why Puebla kicked him out of the team in favor of Jared Tronketti last year.
too cold to spend thirty five bucks watching these pre-season teams play that and i suspect the cowboys game has a lot to do with it
^^ i think that might be it... last night the stadium was half full but damn was it cold last night...
that and the teams playing are not the "popular" ones last year you had Chivas and America in addition to Atlas and Morelia who have a pretty good following. granted, believe it or not, i've come across more Monarcas fans than Atlas ones anyway, if Romano is not canned after the Interliga, i give him until about the 3rd or 4th jornada of the season
el flamante campeon de la liga Mexicana va a bendecir este torneo con su presencia en unos momentos Monterrey vs Jaguares en FSC
You give the people too much credit, add Guadalajara, cruz azul even pumas then take atlante, tecos and chiapas off and the stadiums would be at least half full.
snooze fest 2010 As far as our team's performance. I didn't see anything new, we won this game (vs. santos) the way we have been winning pretty much all last season.....ugly. Which at first I didn't mind, given the fact that we just came off our worst season in the team's history. I had a feeling that a lot of our results would be results that we would have to grind out....nothing pretty, nothing fancy, but we got 3 points. We would show flashes here and there of great football, which lead me to believe that we will (sooner or later) play like that. Reminiscent of when Carrillo was our coach, however I'm thinking that won't happen any time soon. I like that we aren't losing, I can accept that we have to grind out points at this time, I'm not expecting a 7-2 scoreline every game....although I would like to see some improvement from last season. Let's see how we do tomorrow.
LMAO! Romano continues to fail i bet that Santos are kicking themselves in the ass for letting go of Bueno, who had the team playing great, and instead got Lavolpe-lite Romano
Damn, Romano was a pretty solid coach before this losing streak. I don't know if he will ever win another game again.
you almost feel bad for Santos. I don't think Sergio Bueno was a good idea....however Romano was a WORSE idea. Tigres vs. Monterrey today....I wonder if Monterrey will put in their A team this time.
they should just move all the interliga matches here in Los Angeles. More fans and the weather is better. It's 74 degrees right now with clear skies.
santos looks worse than most mls teams out there they have quality players too, something must have happened to him when he was kidnapped that changed him completely he was never really that good but not this bad
Yeah before taking the job with Cruz Azul Romano took Monarcas Morelia to several liguillas and lost 2 finals if I'm not mistaken, he also took Morelia to the quarter finals of the Copa Libertadores by scraping some Ecuadorian team.
last night it was foggy as hell ahorita esta haciendo un caloron but still, valid point..the number of people in attendance in tx seemed pretty low..idk if it helps that the HDC looks like a smaller stadium (27k, not sure about PHP or Rob.)
if the weather would have been better it would have been packed... dude its been soo facking cold here in texas.. it was 23degrees yesterday! wtf!?
Anybody else getting annoyed with Orvananos and the goon squad constantly talking about Carlos Ochoa and his "m0jad0" days? If I remember correctly, he has family in San Diego and lived with them for a few years, attending high school and college right there in San Diego. As far as I recall, his legality while in the states was never questioned. He's traveled to the US numerous times since, I'm sure INS/Homeland Security would've had a problem with someone who came in illegaly, went to school in the states and is now coming back to play footie. I just think there are other topics of conversation at hand that these guys could focus on. It's been mentioned during every Santos game in Interliga. It's highly unprofessional, IMO.
Even Ochoa said he had no papers, I don't think it bugs him he has always talked about it publically. And no he didn't live in San Diego http://www.cartamesoamericana.com/modules.php?name=News&file=print&sid=292
el Campeon despierta y saco el colmillo y violo al chelis y a puebla Monterrey gano 2-1 contra un digno contrincante, el Puebla
