To start. I don't know if you were informed that a soccer game has 90 minutes, each team has 22 players and the right to 3 substitutions ... Which in the meantime Dunga might no even need to use. C'mon, guayos, come, please, come, with your three forwards, that Robinho will be waving to you from your own intermediary ...
You say that now, because he won the Cup. But at that time you'd be the same Latin Pride of always: 'oh this Parreira is too defensive!'... Specially by using that guy named Dunga in his midfield! ...
And Paraguay today with that suicidal 3-forward formation?... An awkward 2008 version of the original Solano Lopez infantry?... Which depending on how the game evolves might even become a severe Italian catenaccio? ...
Nope I say that because it's true, there is no denying that Brasil played much better under Parreira then they did under Dunga, at least 80% of Brasil fans can tell you that. I'll tell you what, if Dunga and Brasil manage to have 2 great games against Paraguay and Argentina then I'll eat my words and give him the benefit of the doubt, and I don't mean play like crap but somehow scrape a result, I mean play WIN and play WELL while at it.
http://www.planetworldcup.com/GUESTS/chambi20080614.html Chambi Sey wrote a long article about the ten countries in CONMEBOL qualifying.
How can you possibly compare, man? ... Parreira assumed Brazil in 1994 (14 years ago!): at that time he had already been on the road for 10. Dunga has never been a coach before, and assumed 2 years ago... What made you think 'fans' know anything about football?... All most of them 'know' is to drink beer and shout 'goooal'! ... I hope it's not your case. In that short period under Dunga, however, and even hating him, those fans - irony of ironies! - proportionally shouted more 'goooal's and commemorated more titles than in the whole Parreira's career. No, that doesn't mean I think Dunga is better than Parreira. I don't even like him as coach - yet. We do need more time to start judging. For the ‘drunk fans' despair though it looks like he's gonna stay in the job for at least 2 more years. Gotta give the guy credit, man. See, you want immediate results!... You want Brazil playing 2 WC finals!... And, if Brazil ’WINS and PLAYS WELL’, you only give him the ‘benefit of doubt’?... Que avaro eres, cuñao!... It might be funny see you ‘eating your words’ though (lol) … Nonetheless, the next 2 games, in my conception, might even include (why not?) defeats or ties... Or you forgot that 2002 World Champion Parreira's Brazil also lost to Paraguay 2 x 1 in the 2004 Copa América (of which Brz btw would become champion)?... With reasonable football of course (for this stage of the competititon: looks like you disconsidered my post above which dealt with the diverse stages of a WC preparation). Home IS factor, Latin, specially if playing against Paraguay in such a good phase (I hope not precocious: remember Argentina's example in 2002). Furthermore…at the Defensores del Chaco! … PS: And that article? Bla-bla-bla...
Uruguay 1 - 0 Venezuela PT Muy buen partido. El contrataque venezolano es rapido pero Uruguay bien paradito atras. Uruguay presionando con todo arriba.
Uruguay is playing well, I don't see Venezuela winning this or even scoring a goal. Uruguay would have to completely fuk up to let this one slip.
I didn't say they weren't. When Venezuela counters, though, it's quick and that's something Chile will have to worry about if Belsa decides to take the initiative in Venezuela. The Uruguayan back line has things under control, though.
One Uruguayan mistake at the back and Maldonado will put it in the net. Uruguayan dominance is clear but the game is far from over. One play and things could be 1-1... I definitely don't see Venezuela dead right now.
it would be even better if the oppossite happened............we could put some distance between the top teams and the rest. Awesome result in Montevideo............i hope Uruguay keeps tying all the way through
hey caturro ready to loose in Puerto La Cruz?? if venezuela wins them chile will loss against my 2 teams, Israel and Vene!!! this baby awaits for u!!!
Buena, Venezuela. Las eliminatorias pasadas Uruguay no le pudo ganar ni a Venezuela ni a Peru en esa fecha doble. Volvera a suceder?
