heard suazo will start on the bench. could be a brilliant decision or a terrible one by the end of the night.

    Hugo Sanchez repped this.

LOL, the unoriginal moronic MLS fans yell out something when the goalie from the opposing team has a goal kick

monterrey is doing so much better actually working the ball on the ground. not sure why they started the game like they played most of the last game, sending pointless long passes.

Monterrey figured it out late in the first half, touch the ball! RSL looked so tired chasing the ball. RSL is going to either get punish for defending or they will make a game of this.

yeah seriously. those first 15 minutes were a nightmare to watch with Monterrey sitting way back and just playing the long ball. as the game progressed and Monterrey started playing the ball more on the ground they got better and took control. hope they continue like this in the 2nd half

Even when playing the ball on the ground, they looked horrible with the exception of a few plays. I don't know how they are winning, except that its an MLS team in front of them. This doesn't look like the Monterrey team from last year at all.

Is Monterrey just going to settle for the 1 goal lead?

seems like Monterrey is content with 1-0 lead. their last 2 subs have been for defensive players. they better hope it doesn't backfire.

    Monterrey wins it.

    RSL didn't deserve it.

They didn't look like an MLS team in Mexico.

They come home where they have a 957 game winning streak or whatever it is and they looked MLS all over again

Monterrey should be ashamed of themselves........ making RSL look like a great team..... content holding on to a one goal lead..... pathetic
