Re: (10.08.10) Friendly: Japan x Argentina [R] That's true. wasn't Ramos already saying that Zac shouldn't play counter attacking soccer this week before the match was even played? I'm curious to see how Japan plays against an opponent when they have more possession.
Re: (10.08.10) Friendly: Japan x Argentina [R] The list of squads is one of the most hysterical parts. Among other great developments, Hosogai just got promoted to central defender! Its a shame Abe started instead of Hasebe though. It might have been even more one-sided with him playing Yuichi Komano must be the happiest guy of them all. He got a 6.5 rating and didnt even have to take a shower afterward.
Re: (10.08.10) Friendly: Japan x Argentina [R] Wonder if I can get a 5.0 rating for waking up at 5:50 am US time to watch the match online... Seems I paid more attention half asleep than the Goal.com team did.
Re: (10.08.10) Friendly: Japan x Argentina [R] Except the kid who wears this ugly Marseille's jersey. He has some good tastes .
Re: (10.08.10) Friendly: Japan x Argentina [R] highlights [ame="http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=a6PXd38Mf0E"]YouTube - ?? 1X0 ?????? ?????[/ame]
Re: (10.08.10) Friendly: Japan x Argentina [R] Embarrassing... I sent an email to goal.com Asia, but I believe this is managed by the International Soccer dept, which is clearly not too competent on japanese soccer... But fear not, a great article is coming!!
Re: (10.08.10) Friendly: Japan x Argentina [R] Just knew the game was in Saitama, made a search for "Saitama+Stadium" and was then very unlucky with the pick.
Re: (10.08.10) Friendly: Japan x Argentina [R] There were at least 2,000 of them. You really gotta feel sorry for a Japanese soccer fan who can't get to love his/her NT today. Anyway, I'll write more in my report. But... Ne??
Re: (10.08.10) Friendly: Japan x Argentina [R] That's what I thought too. But still - why chosen the smallest one? This report is complete disaster - from the top to the bottom.
Re: (10.08.10) Friendly: Japan x Argentina [R] HATERZ want to join a bandwagon, too bad the wheels fell off of theirs.
Re: (10.08.10) Friendly: Japan x Argentina [R] I am the only one impressed by Maeda? Kawashima looked great also.
Re: (10.08.10) Friendly: Japan x Argentina [R] I'm always happy with Maeda, best Japanese striker in J League at the moment in my opinion.
Re: (10.08.10) Friendly: Japan x Argentina [R] Maeda has never done much for the NT before this match.
Re: (10.08.10) Friendly: Japan x Argentina [R] Good. Maybe he will start against Korea, that would be interesting.
Re: (10.08.10) Friendly: Japan x Argentina [R] Maeda was on an another planet...but I'm still not convinced...but surely he has to get the nod ahead of Morimoto vs S. Korea and in the Asian Cup. Besides Maeda, no individual really stood out for me. They all did their part and worked really hard for the team. Fantastic team performance. Well done to Zachehroni too. Please keep this form until Asian Cup is over.
Re: (10.08.10) Friendly: Japan x Argentina [R] I think that Honda and Kagawa's link up play was pretty good. Both of them seemed to be on a different level compared to the others.
Re: (10.08.10) Friendly: Japan x Argentina [R] About Maeda: too selfish. He doesn't want to win - he wants to score. Just compare Morimotos' attitude when Okazaki scored and Maeda when he could pass to Kengo who in a brink of an eye could've been in front of an empty goal. About Kagawa: he's got that something. He dribbled Argentinians very well but sometimes too much and still couldn't feel the right moment too pass. He's not in best form right now I think. But he still feels pretty (over)confident - just look when he tried to copy that dribble from the game against Paraguay when he got past two defenders with breaking the action into the centre. This time Argentines were better. I hope that it teached him something.
