Re: (09.04.10) Friendly: Japan vs. Paraguay [R] will it go to penalty again ? just in case if there's a draw.
Re: (09.04.10) Friendly: Japan vs. Paraguay [R] Probably the first match for Victor Fernandez's Japan, Hara is negociating with him in Europe.
Re: (09.04.10) Friendly: Japan vs. Paraguay [R] Japan will win and afterwards it will be, "if only it was last time."
Re: (09.04.10) Friendly: Japan vs. Paraguay [R] Doubt it. There should be a penalty shootout regardless of the the result though just for the sake of it!
Re: (09.04.10) Friendly: Japan vs. Paraguay [R] It says Nissan/International Stadium Yokohama. http://samuraiblue.jp//newscenter/press_release/news_000198.html
Re: (09.04.10) Friendly: Japan vs. Paraguay [R] it's a meaningless friendly game because Japan has already lost tp Paraguay in the biggest sport even; World Cup. It is a revenge game but still a friendly game.
Re: (09.04.10) Friendly: Japan vs. Paraguay [R] So the match may be played without a coach or with an acting/caretaker coach (one final curtain call for Okada?) because of the delays. Hurray!
Re: (09.04.10) Friendly: Japan vs. Paraguay [R] OK... Are they letting him have a shot at the big job...? (Meaning are they letting him do these two games and see how it goes...? At this point it wouldn't be a bad idea...)
Re: (09.04.10) Friendly: Japan vs. Paraguay [R] Apparently no. He's been appointed for the Olympics side I think though which is absolutely fantastic if true. But the JFA only looking at foreign managers at this point. Manzano, Valverde, Van Basten, Fernandez (hell no) all still available.
Re: (09.04.10) Friendly: Japan vs. Paraguay [R] Reportedly: 30000/65000 tickets sold for the Paraguay friendly 12000/40000 tickets sold for the Guatemala friendly so far.
Re: (09.04.10) Friendly: Japan vs. Paraguay [R] The one in Osaka is on a Tuesday, next is a school day... No kids, moms, dads... Plus no coach yet and probably (I assume) no Europe-based players... They might come close to sell out, but surely you can't expect too much enthusiasm. I'd have to take half day off to make it to the game from Kyoto, and the next morning will be hell, as I will be back home by 12:30am or so...
Re: (09.04.10) Friendly: Japan vs. Paraguay [R] I assumed wrong. The europe-based players WILL be called. http://sports.yahoo.co.jp/news/20100819-00000097-jij-spo.html Gotta grab those tickets tomorrow!!
Re: (09.04.10) Friendly: Japan vs. Paraguay [R] without Honda though ... because of some injury problem(s) at the moment he wont come
Re: (09.04.10) Friendly: Japan vs. Paraguay [R] I know that Honda will not be there, but I'm thinking about the future of the national team right now. Should Honda continue to be the main attack for Japan? It seemed to work well for the WC, but now that we have a new coach Kagawa will, hopefully, be selected. My question is should we continue with Honda or should the national team integrate the likes of Kagawa, Hirai?, Usami?, Morimoto, Okazaki into the offense? I'm somewhat worried because I think that we all know that for Honda to succeed that the team needs to be built around him. The only problem I have with that is it really makes Japan's offense one-dimensional.
Re: (09.04.10) Friendly: Japan vs. Paraguay [R] I got the tickets for the Guatemala game. The category is "Samurai Blue" seats... They are the cheapest seats (¥2500), but they're numbered. I don't get it. Oh well, anywhere in Nagai you can see the game well, hoping it won't rain!
Re: (09.04.10) Friendly: Japan vs. Paraguay [R] Hi Goru, i have a question, do you know what time the game will be vrs Guatemala. If you can give me some info. about the players that will be playing against Guatemala. I've tried looking for info on the Guatemalan media but no luck. Thanks
