Guys let's keep this one civil. I'll admit I wasnt the nicest guy on the last thread, but i'll try and improve in this thread. Spazzos, central american Mexican haters and mexi spazzos, check yourselves at the door please.
"I would hope that there's people out there new to the sport that will realize that they don't have to follow their hometown team. People follow a Euro team on Saturday mornings, why not a Mexican team at night? Better football and broadcast presentation. If people feel their time is worthwhile, then they should follow the Mexican league over the us league." You are right. Even though i don't, and likely will never have a favorite Mexican team or Euro team, i do get a chance to see a few matches. I only get to see them on Univision and ESPN Deportes, but i try to see the FMF as much as i can. On my side of town there is a bigger than what you would expect Mexican population. I still have to remain a Crew fan because it's the team that i grew up on, and still remember the good days when i lived so close to the old stadium that i'd walk to the matches.
Yeah for about 10 minutes there I thought it was gonna be a great game. Oh well, maybe the Real Espana vs. Communicaciones game will be more competitive.
same here.... the commentators where like the five times that Puma has played here in Honduras they've never lost! but i think they lost to my Olimpia back in 2002?? i forgot the year.
I agree, Real Espana has to win next game but the only problem is that Cremas got their groove back and for that game we should have 3 of our players that were injured, wouldnt want to be in their shoes, u'll hear this name in the next games Chinchilla
The team in last place in the FMF, the team with 5 straight losses lays the smack down in Honduras 5-1...damn.
It speaks volumes. I can't wait to see the next round of games, I think it's safe to say all the Mexican teams will be going to the next round, based on results, but I want to see which other teams will advance. Saprissa or the Crew? This one is interesting, since they're fighting for the number two spot in the same group.
Toluca is a hell of a team. The fact that they got seriously bitch slapped 7 to 2 tonight is jaw dropping. They might take some of there anger out on some of the champions league teams.
