Nice shot on the elbow to Seba's not-insignificant nose...

Heh, Juve are worse than the Yankees. Il cielo e blu perche Dio e un fan di Napoli! Forza gli ciucci!!! :)

I have to admit, though, that back in the days of the one-team-per-country Euro Cup, I rooted for Platini's Juve.

I can't hate any teams that are not in the league my club plays in.

That said, I don't really like any of them either....

If the Sounders win the 2008 USOC, will Seattle Sounders FC inherit the CONCACAF Champions' League qualifying spot?

According to the USSF, if the Open Cup champ is unavailable to take that slot, whether it's because they own a higher seed, i.e. the Rev from last year, or any other reasons, that slot goes to the MLS supporters shield runners up, which last year was Chivas USA.

I noticed that the next US Open Cup game is at starfire. Is the stadium big enough for everyone, or are tickets going to sell out?

It can hold close to 4k as is, up to 5k SRO.

Last year's Seattle-Chivas USA USOC match (3-1 to Seattle) drew 3,200 at Qwest Field.

They signed Michael Rodriguez, not Cunningham. I believe it is up on the USL Sounders web site... it is certainly up on www.uslsoccer.com.

Isn't Chivas USA already in it?

If the Rev had NOT won the Open Cup, Chivas would not have got in, FCD would have. You can only take one slot, and the Rev held two, for being MLS Cup runners-up AND USOC champs. That left a slot available. Chivas received that slot for being regular season runners-up. Houston & DCU received byes into group play, for being the Cup & Shield winners, respectively. NE and Chivas will play in the two leg preliminary round.

I am wondering if the argument could legally be made that SSFC would have to be allowed entrance to the CONCACAF CL because MLS is single entity and refuses to allow existing teams/clubs/organizations into the league? In reality, this is a promotion to MLS, not a brand new team. SSFC is getting special privileges no other expansion team has gotten because of the existing team. Yes, there are more investors coming into the team and with the extra money comes the ability to increase/improve all aspects of the organization, but its still a continuation of the current Seattle Sounders.

Hey guys I need some help.

My season ticket rep has called me twice asking if I was ready to cash in my deposit, but I wasn't at the time. I didn't save his number because I'm an idiot, and now I don't have a way to contact him. I'll be devastated if I don't get a spot in the supporters section standing with ECS and others, my best friend already has his ticket there.

Could somebody PM me his number, I don't know when he's going to try calling me next, and he said the section was filling very fast. I don't think he'd want it plastered on a forum, because I couldn't find it anywhere on Google... I think they're trying to keep it confidential.

My rep's name was Kevin, thanks for the help.
