has to be posted twice Here is a little song I wrote Monty might want to sing it note for note Don't worry be happy In every year the Revs have some trouble When you worry you make it double Don't worry, be happy...... Ain't got no place to lay your head Bigsoccer started and created a Revs Thread Don't worry, be happy Steve Nicol said the team is lame They may have to skip a game Don't worry, be happy Look at Steve, hes happy Don't worry, be happy Here I give SoccerDoc’s phone number When you worry call him He make you happy Don't worry, be happy got lots of cash under the cap Ain't got new players to close the gap But don't worry be happy Cause when you worry The Revs play Bad And that will make everyone one sad So don't worry, be happy (now)..... There is this little song I wrote I hope you learn it note for note Like good little children Don't worry, be happy Listen to what Steve say To many cups, won’t win a double If you think they’ll win MLS cup Then you’re in trouble Don't worry, be happy...... Don't worry don't do it, be happy Put a smile on your face Drink a Sam Adams, smoke a cigar Don't worry, it will soon past there is always next year Don't worry, be happy
Congratulations to Houston. They are doing a good job managing their schedule and representing MLS internationally both in SuperLiga (2nd place) and CCL. Too bad more of their fans weren't at the stadium to see it. Attendance of 4,178 versus 10,908 at their last mid-week home game against an MLS team (Chivas, 8/20). Same stadium and similar weather conditions.
I can't blame them. It's not like San Francisco (not the city!) is a big name in the early rounds. I'm sure they'll draw better for Pumas. 4,178... Kinda like what we drew for Joe Public ... only more.
No, no, no! You've got it all wrong! Columbus are the "Massive" club New York are the "SuperClub" LA Galaxy are the "Jewel of MLS" DC United are the "Flagship Franchise" And on the other end of the spectrum, the Kansas City Wizards are "Perfectly adequate enough on a good day." What does that make us?
I'm just sitting here watching the Joe Public vs Impact de' Montreal and thinking about...well, a lot of things really, but one of them is how great it would've been to have a chance to start a great rivalry with Montreal with a couple of big matches in a big tournament. I have to admit that getting Montreal into MLS is pretty high on my list.
Yep I was saying the same thing when we went out to Joe Public. Not only the Montreal aspect, but another shot at the Atlante thugs. I just joined an Impact facebook group! I like watching them, but I think CCL has taken its toll on them as well, if anyone watched the Whitecaps second leg this weekend it looked like Montreal were worn down but I give them a lot of credit for making a go at the CCL.
Same here, though I'm starting to wonder if we would have gotten our asses kicked. The Impact are odds on to win the group. BTW, they've solved the mystery that is Joe Public FC
By the way, just another point that helps shoot down all the friggin' excuses made here. The Impact since September 1st through now have played 15 GAMES. Had we continued on in the CCL, we'd be up to 10 games now in that same time frame. Since September 2nd (their first game in that stretch) ... in 37 days, they've played a whopping 15 games. Just read that line again. And their record in that time frame ... 7-4-4.
It's the...uh...Canadian air! Ya, that's it! Phew, for a second there I thought I might have to admit that the Revs threw the game.
Yeah, but if they'd had a REAL coach, they would have deliberately crashed out of the CCL so they'd have been rested when they met Vancouver for the USL championship spot. THEN, in the USL final they would have easily beaten Puerto Rico because..... wait for it... Puerto Rico will be soooooo tired from all the CCL play. It's all really bad planning on Montreal's part. I mean here they are, out of their championship, but they still have something to play for. What's up with that. They should be playing golf.
Mon-ray-aaale? Boeuf! How many open roster spots do THEY have? And gimmie a break, they ADDED a couple of players late in the season because they thought those guys could help. Buncha wusses!
Well, that's embarassing. I thought the Spurs name would attract a better name than the effing Quakes.
Maybe we should tell them our history in tournaments, it's only natural they'd want to partner with the club that mirrors their successes (and failures)

Post Super-Liga, the REVs have a 3-4-5 Record or 13 points in 12 games (MLS only). 1.083 ppg. Next time I'm tempted to laugh at the Beckham circus I'll think twice. We may not have been of LA quality prior to Superliga but we certainly have sunk that far since. I suspect the, less than 24 hour old, challenge of losing Steve Ralston will become the latest in a series of excuses that have been offered for this team. That, like most of the others, will be pure fiction. This team is what their record states they are - free points to any challenger. Honest reflection on how the REVs became the East Coast Galaxy is in order. Any conclusion should strongly consider pathetic roster management and insane coaching choices .
