It looks like only 3 or 4 of the teams with byes to the group stage will advance to the quarterfinals. CD Luis Angel Firpo and Houston Dynamo both got byes, and exactly one of them will advance. Atlante and Santos Laguna advanced to the quarterfinals. CD Olimpia, CSD Municipal, one of CD Luis Angel Firpo or Houston Dynamo, and D.C. United did not advance. The question is if Deportivo Saprissa will advance. If only 3 teams with byes advance, everybody who voted in the poll will be wrong.
Edit: This topic doesn't have an [R] in it. Do not read below if you don't want tonight's result. Deportivo Saprissa lost, so only three teams with byes to the group stage advanced to the quarterfinals and all 16 poll voters voted for too high a number.
